I really like the concept and glow of MannyX's custom "Radioactive Androids", with them frozen in mid-drop! And reasonably priced at US$35 (+shipping) each too - available for sales come February 23rd @ 2pm PST via patrullax.bigcartel.com. The "radioactive spill" androids are limited to only 5 with one being a GID chase, and comes bagged with header card. Very *LIKE* indeed!

Bungie Knows About Their Meme, Guys

If you haven’t seen the image already, at the very top of this post is how the Bungie team stood during their PlayStation 4 conference announcement. Very awkwardly, they stood there, hands avoiding pockets and eyes staring directly into the crowd.

Of course, the Internet couldn’t let that slide, so it kind of became a meme pretty fast. I saw Twitter explode with laughter and found this image that made the entire conference worth watching.

The last image in this photoset is of the full actual Bungie team, poking fun at the Sony conference’s meme. That’s the entire team dressed in blazers in a wallpaper sized image. Kudos to them for being able to laugh at the entire situation. The image was posted on their official website.

You know what makes a "collectible" a "toy"? To me, it is "playability", which In most cases can be easily circumvented with a figure's articulation … but frankly, that's not enough, for the figure is only "saying" something (you can argue "let his fists do the talking"…), but ultimately, a figure's "accessories" helps bring a figure unto "playtime"! And while I've featured the steampunk-soaked RIVALS on Kickstarter before HERE, check out new added pics and designs for their "stretch goals" (ie. Beyond their current $12.5K goal, which has since been surprised!), and imagine how much fun you would have for playing with them, IMHO!

As if this day couldn't get any better, ThreeA has announced that they will be teaming up with Marvel Comics to produce 1/6 scale Marvel figures, which will be re-imagined by the amazing artist Ashley Wood. Personally, we can't wait to see what's in store for collectors!

As promised, here is the plush that I made for the awesome AC of Hibou Designs for the Plush Team's Mardi Gras themed Secret Santa swap.

Meet Claudine Clodhopper:

The Clodhoppers are a species of BigFoot that love to wear mis-matched socks. Claudine is a big fan of Mardi Gras, and gets out her mask and fleur de lis brooch every year, along with her beads and coins, and heads out to have fun with her friends.

She is made from a super soft and cuddly shaggy plush minky, which makes her great for snuggling with. The mask is removable and made out of felt, with gold trim and feathers - it's not Mardi Gras without feathers, right? ;)

You can find a few of Claudine's cousins hanging around in my etsy shop- they are eagerly waiting to go off on new adventures. :)

Tecrom Designs have posted a first look at the head model design for the customs class coming this June in San Diego. Tecrom Designs says the following about the model: This is SHAWK/PAWE a model I designed for use with Mecha Custom Class hosted by Captured Prey and Mech Ideas on June 27th 2013 in San Diego. The design will be made to work with Mech Ideas' Demoliton Crue!! The class will be instructed by Encline Designs, Sioce, Masterxblaster and Axeman. I hope you like it!!
