Wooden Pikachu Toy
I saw this neat-o print on FFFFOUND. But what really caught my eye was the super cute wooden Pikachu toy in the corner. I can’t find out anything about it through Google, so I’ll just have to stare at it longingly. If you like the print (A4 size), you can get it here for $30.

Anime in Japanese Politics
As we spoke the other day, anime is heavily rooted in Japanese society for all ages. Its everywhere and now in Japanese politics too.
This photo taken the other day at Harajuku where I came across Madoka who was chanting out "Tokyo Change!" and that the person who is going to bring about that change is Utsunomiya Kenji.
As you may already know, Ishihara is stepping down from the position of the govenor of Tokyo. Madoka and her group want Utsunomiya-san to take his place. See them in action below.
And this is Utsunomiya-san - formerly one of the top folks for the Japanese association of lawers and currently secretary for various groups which do good for Japanese society.
This is not the first time we've seen anime being used to get votes of the citizens - this short anime clip was made by the Liberal Democratic Party.
Is anime something that could help parties in your neck of the woods gain votes? Probably loose votes I guess? ^^;
How many of you are entitled to vote and actually do so?
There is a poll embedded in this article.
