Mattel Announces Upcoming Events
[PR Newswire] - The fourth quarter financial results conference call will be webcast on the "Investors" section of Mattel's corporate website, http://investor.shareholder.com/mattel. In addition, Mattel announced that the company's management team will host securities analysts for a strategic business overview, followed by a tour of Mattel's gallery at the 2016 North American International Toy Fair. Lego to double production in Hungary to avoid brick shortage
[Reuters] - Danish toymaker Lego said on Friday it would invest more than a hundred million euros in its factory in Hungary to double the size of its facilities there and avoid shortages that have plagued the Christmas period in recent years. Lego has become the world's largest toymaker by sales, overtaking U.S. Barbie-maker Mattel, thanks partly to toys linked to movies. "As we continue to grow our business, we need to ensure that we are able to deliver the Lego sets demanded by consumers all over the world," the family-owned company wrote in a statement.

We hired a new stock boy recently. His name is Calvin.
It's taken him awhile to learn all of our products, their SKUs, and where they go in the warehouse. All considered, he's doing pretty well and fitting in nicely with the team.
But the new Jumbo Colored Panda Kawaii Squishies that just arrived, he just doesn't know what to do with them.

Unknown Classics Optimus Prime Redeco Discovered - Canceled? Upcoming?
While we haven't had much coming from Ebay seller lena81822 lately, it seems like at least tonight they're making a quick comeback. Among their listings are a few copies of a new - or at least previously unseen instance of the 2006 Classics Optimus Prime mold. This one is distinguished by a giant Autobot symbol on the windvane in a layout not seen in any variety of the mold before. 2016 marks the tenth anniversary of the mold's debut - could this be some kind of "final shot" to commemorate it? Hisashi Yuki has posted a pair of new images of Unite Warriors Wandering Roller from the UW06 Grand Galvatron set! Roller is united with his old friend Optimus Prime... but Prime has grown up a fair bit since then, seeing as he is represented by UW05 Convoy Grand Prime.
