Let out a roar! Matty's ThunderCats club finally open
Subscriptions are currently open for Matty Collector's Club Third Earth, a ThunderCats-themed club.
The club will feature 4 regular figures (Lion-O, Jackalman, Pumyra, and Panthro) along with a club exclusive Mumm-Ra for US$30 each (or a total buy-in of US$150 before shipping & taxes).
Matty Collector had originally announced back at SDCC that the club would feature 6 figures but, somewhere along the way, that got bumped down to 4 figures. Also, while I had hoped that the pricing would come in cheaper (since Matty had announced an intention to roll back pricing on MotUC), I suppose that ThunderCats fans are lucky to get anything!
It's a pretty strong line-up where the weakest inclusion might be Pumyra (who herself is by no means a minor character) which somewhat makes up for the small number numbers of figures we're seeing this year.
If you're looking to buy in, there's a monthly option as well as a bundled option that ships the entire club at once.

Robots In Disguise App Update Reveals New Figures Plus Added Mini-Cons
Firestorm from the Ozformers board has posted several screencaps from the latest update of the Robots in Disguise mobile app. Much of the content of this update seems to focus around adding new Mini-Con characters, including some that may not have been seen before. What seemed to catch more attention though was the reveal of "One Step Evolved" versions of Optimus and Strongarm, perhaps indicating a new variety of One Step Changer figures coming along? Platinum Edition Planet Of Junk Set Revealed In New Pictures
Discovered recently in store inventory data, we finally know what the mysterious "Planet of Junk" Platinum Edition box set is. Planet of Junk Clash is a set of two Generations Junkions along with yet another redeco of Classics Rodimus. Interestingly, in this set the toy is identified as Autobot Hot Rod, showing Hasbro is still going forward with its efforts to reclaim as many Transformers character names as possible.
