Supe7 lines up new Micros, Zombie Fighter
The fine folks at Super7 are readying up some new releases, one of whici is a new colorway of their kaiju Micros! This time around, Mummy Boy and Rose Vampire are cast in a peanut butter brown hue and will be on the Super7 store at noon Pacific Thursday (3 p.m. Eastern) for US$10 each.
Second, there's a new Zombie Fighter on the way Friday, Feb. 13. The Super7-Secret Base collab figure is being called, appropriately, Fighter the 13th and I can only assume it'll be styled after Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th films.
Do either of these releases have your attention, Tomopop readers?

GSC's Nendoroid Plus Miku capsules are ready for winter
I hope all of my fellow New Englanders are all shoveled out and safe. Here's something cute and snowy to cheer us all up! Good Smile Company's latest line of capsule toys featuring, of course, Miku Hatsune has a long name, but look like a lot of fun. Nendoroid Plus: Capsule Factory ~Snow Miku and Friends from the North~ SEASON 1 takes Miku and turns her into adorable little figures of both her snow incarnations and three figures associated with northern Japan.
- Snow Miku: Snow Bell Ver.
- Rabbit Yukine
- Snow Miku (2010)
- Hatsune Miku x Marimo
- Hatsune Miku x Hokkaido Red Fox
- Hatsune Miku x Hokkaido Brown Bear
How can you not look at these and smile? Both of the Snow Miku figures are pretty standard and look pretty happy to have been included in the first series of figures. Yukine kinda bores me, It's a little too much like the ones that come with the bigger Snow Bell Miku figures. Really wish it was Miku in a Yukine costume. Apparently Marimo is an algae ball unique to Lake Akan. Okaaay... The Red fox is pretty great, especially with her tongue sticking out. But the best of all has got to be Brown Bear Miku with her angry bear face! I demand some Yurikuma bear figures in the same style to go with her!
The figures themselves don't have much more than a turning head and twin tails, but those heads are readily swapable with Nendoroid Petite figures if you want to give them a little more height. To be honest, I don't think the head swapping is quite as successful as they're selling it to be, but I'm sure there are a lot of fans who will get some use of it. Unfortunately, judging from the product page you'll only be able to find these at Japanese live events, but if we're lucky they'll bring some along to events outside of Japan like they've done with some other exclusives in the past.
Still, that bear, might have to drop a few bucks to get one...

'FANTASTIC 4' REBOOT TRAILER
Not sure how I feel about this. Looks like it could be a decent movie even if it had nothing to do with a comic series. Seeing as how it’s just a teaser, all the superhero bits have been turned way down save for a quick “FLAME ON!” moment, a split second of off-screen arm-stretching, some Thing looking all rocky, and Sue doing some glowy blue stuff.
I’m still kind of bummed that they’re trying to appeal to the CW tween crowd by casting a bunch of young dreamy kids, but I’m old and grouchy (i.e. NOT the demographic for this movie), so my vote doesn’t count for much
