Medicom Toy Edition SEXTOPIGON by Skinner x Unbox Industries
Gigantic Mega Man available for pre-order
If you've ever wanted a 13" Mega Man statue to grace your shelves, you are in for a treat. X-PLUS has added the Blue Bomber to their Gigantic Series, which also includes versions of Super Sonico, Vegeta, and other classic characters.
Rockman is made from PVC and has an optional head piece, so you can have him displayed with or without his helmet. This statue is classic Nintendo goodness and shows off Capcom's favorite robot perfectly. He is currently up for pre-order, listed at around ¥8,400, and is set to be released in March of this year.

Will DC Icons Firestorm heat up a cold day?
Here's some news that might warm up your day: DC Collectibles unveiled its DC Comics Icons Firestorm during a recent "Ask DC Collectibles" feature.
Firestorm, depicted here as doing something fiery, is slated for a Fall 2015 release. While Firestorm is one of those characters with whom casual fans are less likely to be acquainted, he has notably appeared in several cartoon series/films (such as the Super Friends) and has enjoyed a recent guest appearance on CW's new The Flash. So yeah, he's hot stuff...
The statue seems to feature some cool translucent bits for flames. Otherwise, the sculpting is cool as always... errr, did I say cool? I meant red-hot.

Too many feels: Pre-orders for Pixar's Inside Out Funko POP figures
Disney-Pixar's upcoming summer movie Inside Out is all about human emotions interpreted inside a young girl's mind. Now it joins the list of other Disney movie characters available in Funko merchandise before the release date.
The Funko Pop figures are the traditional vinyl fare with Joy, Anger, Sadness, Disgust and Fear. However, the Fabrikations line are in soft plush form featuring both Anger and Sadness. Joy is adorable, spreading her arms out with...well, joy. Sadness's Fabrikation model makes me want to hug that frown upside down, though.
All of the Funko figures are slated for May 2015 and cost US$9.99, while the two Fabrikations cost $19.99. If you can't wait that long, head below for pre-order links available.

Lego Scooby Doo sets revealed: Velma off the case
London Toy Fair is known for being a place to announce new Lego sets, and not showing a single one of them. Luckily, there are people (and major corporations) to do that work for us. Scooby Doo is the new licensed theme for 2015, and we have a couple of reveals.
First off is the Mystery Machine. It's a 301-piece set for US$29.99, so it's right around the $0.10 per piece ratio I like. Plus it comes with 3 minifigs, and the new Scooby Doo mold. It seems pretty unique among their dog figures, but Scooby Doo is a one of a kind dog (he's so lovable). Shaggy will be afforded a GIANT Lego sandwich, while Fred hangs back and pretends to find clues. A zombie minifig comes with; so for you Lego zombie fans, this could be one to keep an eye on. The Mystery Machine looks to be a little on the small side, but I don't even think the show had a proper van scale correct.
The second reveal is the Mystery Mansion, the big set of the wave. We don't have any specifics on piece count, but my guess will be 800+ given the $89.99 price. This looks like 6 minifigs and the Scooby Doo figure. The regular Lego ghost makes an appearance (who should be glow in the dark), a sweet looking suit of armor (that no doubt COMES TO LIFE), and a Dracula straight from an episode of the original show's first season (my memory told me this and I confirmed through some searching). And we get our first looks at Velma and Daphne, with some detective tools in hand. Shaggy's bike and sidecar are colored like the Mystery Machine so maybe you can have it pop out of the other set.
The mansion is fairly reminiscent of the Monster Fighter's Vampyre Caste, which is fine. That was great castle. The most unique part of the Mystery Mansion is the greenhouse, and that looks quite fun. The giant Venus Fly Trap and pumpkin also look like great fodder for future sets. Including these two, the rest of the wave consists of (not pictured): Mummy Museum Mystery, Mystery Plane Adventures, and Haunted Lighthouse. Hopefully we'll see those soon; the Lighthouse has some fun potential. Lego is claiming an August release, so if the past is an indication we'll start seeing them around early July.

traipsing through the enchanted forest
Dappled sunlight, fluttering butterflies, wind in the branches, birds tweeting, and a little itty bitty fox sitting primly on a log, crown in hand, just waiting for you. Isn’t that what comes to mind when you see these foxes from The Enchanted Forest? I could have romanticized things a wee bit, but it’s been one […]
