HERE’S A SENTINEL FROM THE MATRIX BUILT OUT OF LEGOS
Well damn, here’s a magnificent Lego creation. Sean and Steph Mayo have created this detailed replica of a Sentinel from The Matrix film series, which the duo entered into the Iron Builder competition. It’s absolutely beautiful what the Mayo couple have cooked up here — a super detailed and jaw-dropping Lego replica.

Lego Nutella art piece is too sweet
Admit it: when you have a Nutella jar accessible in your kitchen pantry, you eat it all through one sitting with the same spoon. Or is that just me?
Guilty pleasure aside, Lego artist Brucewaynelego created this recent art piece entitled "Philipp Glass." According to the description, there was an event hosted by Ferrero—manufacturers of Nutella—and the artist made his own label. The artist had to go "old-school" due to no luck in finding Lego glass pieces to replicate the "nice curved slopes" described.
Unfortunately, there is no market retail for Nutella Lego sets that I'm aware of—unless both companies plan to collaborate just in time for World Nutella Day on Feb. 5. That'd be a nice treat, if you ask me.

Presenting Saber, spinning around a desk near you
Check out a new smiling Saber from Wing, now up for pre-order. She is the "Last Episode" version from Fate/Stay Night [Realta Nua], the PSVita port of the PS2 version of the original game. Whew. So, basically one of the "good endings". This version of the popular Type-Moon character has an arm out-stretched; but don't worry she's not wielding an invisible sword, so it's safe to hold hands. If you prefer your Sabers without the heartbreak of sacrifice, then this 1/8th scale representation can sit comfortably on your shelf.
The paint wash has a great, pearl-like hue and shine. Wing typically sculpts some dynamic poses for their PVC figures, and this one is of the less risqué offerings (in case that's something that bothers you.) Her braids and buns may be let loose, but you still get the signature "ahoge" atop her head. Looking at an MSRP of ¥12,778 for this positive affirmation of love amongst an ethereal and eternal setting!

round about: hot pink squirrels & honeyed almond milk
Well hello there! It feels like forever since we’ve done a weekly round about – between the Holidays and other projects. It feels good to get back into familiar routines right now: school is back in session, work is back to it’s normal schedule, the Christmas decorations are down. It’s kind of a relief to […]
