The internet sure does love cats and I can totally understand the sentiment. Lil Bub, Colonel Meow, and of course, Grumpy Cat (also known as Tardar Sauce) never cease to entertain. Being a fan of said kitties as well as a plush enthusiast, I am naturally on the eternal hunt for good plush representation of the feline celebrities. You can imagine my excitement when I learned that Hashtag Collectibles, makers of my beloved Blobfish plush (reviewed), had made a Grumpy Cat puppet. I simply had to try one out for myself.

FREEing has found big success in their recent forays into Yukata figures, and A Certain Scientific Railgun remains a perennial merchandise favourite. It's hardly surprising therefore that the two have crossed paths, with the company's take on heroine Mikoto Misaka showing up on virtual shelves today.
It's a fine looking figure with a nice, spunky pose that's befitting of Mikoto's energetic personality. I'm not too keen on the colour - pale orange is perhaps a little demure - but it's tough to argue with that Gekota-themed mask and handbag. If you like what you see you can put ¥8,164 yen down for Mikoto right now, with shipping in May of next year.

Just in are new images of the Perfect Effect - Leonidas figure. Following the teaser silhouette that hinted at a Japanese Beast Wars character Lio Convoy. The new prototype images confirmation that IS what we will be getting. Get a look at the figure in robot mode that shows he's armed with two long swords and is roughly in scale with the MP-10 Optimus Prime figure.
