Kahotan made good on her promise and posted a second gallery for figures on display at Miyazawa Model Exhibition Autumn 2014. This time around the focus is on the companies of Max Factory, Phat!, FREEing, and Gift. Most of these aren't brand new, but we are getting a first good look at some pretty old figures.
Max Factory finally put Fire Emblem's Lucina in a display! She was announced back at Wonder Festival 2013 [Winter], that's February 2013! A lot of people thought she had been canceled, but she's still on the way. I'm going to guess she started as a regular figma and needed the time to give her the 2.0 treatment. We do now know that she'll come with long hair, short hair, some face parts and a mask. See you in June! The only other figma on display was the return of the infamous figma horse which Kahotan says should be finally seeing pre-order soon. For figFIX they gave us a first look at Kantai Collection's Amatsukaze all battle damaged and stuff.
For scale figures that aren't figFIX they went right to World Conquest Zvezda Plot. First we finally got a look at the sculpt for the Lady Plamya that was teased back at Wonder Festival 2014 [Winter]. She's looking good and I'm impressed that they've got her dated for a July this early on. They also had Kate, aka Lady Venera, on display with a promise that she'll be up for pre-order soon for a May release.
The Phat! Company section was interesting since it had one figure they wouldn't allow photos of, so Kahotan blurred out the picture, but not the sign next to it. It's the Idolmaster anime's Takane Shijou. That wasn't the only Idolmaster piece on display, they also revealed Cinderella Girls' Ranko Kanzaki: Anniversary Princess Ver.'s second release. First the standard release gives you the figure on a yet-to-be revealed stand. But now we're seeing the newly revealed ~ Mad Banquet ~ edition which will be a deluxe release with a big fenced in base. Both figures will be released in June with the standard release going for ¥11,800 and the deluxe version going for ¥15,800.
The next figure, KanColle's Yuudachi Kai 2 looks like a figma, but it's actually from the Parfom line. It looks like they'll be doing much more elaborate figures in this line as they go on. No other details on this one, but I bet she'll be up or pre-order soon. Then there's the newest additions to the Medicchu KanColle series Hikoujouki (Airfield Princess) and an unpainted Mutsu. No real info on when and how these will be released, but we should know more soon.
Moving on to FREEing they brought a surprise along in the form of announcing that Detective Conan will be a figFIX alongside the figma nondescript criminal. Conan was revealed long before we knew what figFIX was so now it's all making sense why he wasn't articulated. The criminal comes with some interesting accessories including a golf club and shovel. Looks like these two will be released as a set in June for ¥5,680. I really hope it comes with option parts so it looks like Conan is doing more than using his watch.
Outside of that they had the Puella Magi Madoka Magica Mami Tomoe: Yukata Ver. that's looking pretty cute. They also had A Certain Scientific Railgun's Mikoto Mikasa: Yukata Ver. which you can read more about here.
Lastly Gift brought along a massive 1/4 scale Vita from Lyrical Nanoha. No specific info has been given about her size, but I would imagine she'll at least be a foot tall. Kahotan says she's hoping to be able to review it next month.
That's it for Good Smile Company's coverage of the Miyazawa Model Exhibition. You can see the photos at the link above or right here in the gallery.
