MARVEL TEASES NEW CIVIL WAR IN 2015
The original Civil War blew minds back in 2006 as one of the all-time greatest events in Marvel history. The company just sent out this teaser image by Adi Granov featuring artwork of Captain America and Iron Man about to tear poor Iron Spider in half. Accompanying the art is a “Summer 2015” date and I couldn’t be more excited. Considering summer is eight months from now, could this have something to do with the cryptic “In eight months, time runs out" line that various Marvel bigwigs have been spouting left and right at cons and in interviews?
The Japanese website for Toys R Us has made an update to its listing for their exclusive recolor of Evasion Mode Optimus Prime. "Rusty" Optimus Prime was originally released on August 10th, but the latest version of the product page now shows a shipment date of December 8th. If you've been considering this version as your choice of screen-accurate editions of the Voyager Optimus mold, it looks like an additional supply is getting ready to become available. Just remember you'll still have to go through an extra party to order it!
I said yesterday that we love good stop motion, and it didn't take long before another found its way to us. In Prime's Rage, Optimus faces off against mostly human military forces trying to block his escape from a city of cardboard. Stop motion is a time consuming art, and it's always a treat to see a finished work realized this well. Click through and check out the embedded video!
