Jamieshow Madra Redressed
The jewelry was a table gift at a convention from another collector. The wig is by Ilaria.
The gown is covered with beads and sequins. It has no closures and slips on over the doll's legs - over a full length slip.
Here she is in a new wig from Chewin. Both wigs were made for Sybarites but they work on Madra.

Gotta Love Mixed Media Multi-Holiday and Multi-Season Collage Art Blocks
Finally Fall has arrived and I couldn't be happier. If you're a reader of my Linda's Blog you know why. If you're not and are wondering why it's because Fall is my favorite season for decorating.
In a previous post entitled A Perfect Decoration For Multi Seasons and Multi Holidays I told you a story about my Mother's love for decorating but her problem with living in a small apartment with little space for decorating.
I also told you that in thinking about this over the years and thinking about my own need to down size a little on my decorations I thought about handmade decorations that could be left out for several holidays and several seasons. For me that would mean something I could bring out in September and leave out until March. But, what kind of form would be conducive to that?
Well, after experimenting with the mixed media art dolls I had learned to make in my latest Artful Gathering class and thinking about multi level wood blocks a light bulb went off in my head. The multi level wood blocks would be perfect for a multi seasonal multi holiday mixed media collage decoration that could be left out for many months.
Since the Fall, Christmas, and Winter seasons are my favorite times of the year I thought my blocks should have a Fall side, a Christmas side, a Winter side, and a Halloween side. And, best of all, they could be left out for 7 months. All you'd have to do was turn the block for the season or holiday you wanted.
Initially, I ended up creating four 3-tier mixed media collage art block towers with a Fall side, a Christmas side, a Winter side, and a Halloween side.
I didn't realize until I started making my collage art blocks how much work they were going to be and how time consuming mixed media collage really is. And, time is my enemy. I just never have enough of it to do everything I want to do.
However, despite my lack of time I had so much fun making my initial blocks I decided to make some more. So I made two 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 9 1/2" mixed media collage art block towers with a Fall side, a Christmas side, a Winter side, and a Halloween side and three 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 5 1/2" mixed media mini art lock towers with a Fall side, a Christmas side, a Winter side, and a Halloween side. I also made a bunch of other mixed media collage type crafts, but that's for another post.
If you love mixed media collage art and you're looking for a decoration that doesn't take up a lot of room and can be left out from September 1st until March 31st our 3-tier Fall, Halloween, Christmas, and Winter mixed media art collage cube tower would be a perfect fit.
With a Fall side, a Christmas side, a Winter side, and a Halloween side all you have to do is turn the block for the season or holiday you want.
My decoration is perfect for anyone with limited space for displaying decorations and limited space for storing decorations.
Legend Studio's Sailor Moon series is still happening
Do you remember Legend Studio was supposed to come out with a series of Sailor Moon figures? It was announced and delayed massively, then the prototypes popped up last year, but again they were delayed massively. So now again we are hearing news about them!
The completed Inner Senshi and prototypes of the Outer Senshi appeared at the Singapore Toy, Game, and Comic Convention. Now called art statue action figures, each figure appeared on a simple white stand with their names on it. Originally, I thought these figures looked great when I saw the prototypes, but now my opinion has changed.
The finished product, paint and all, looks a little low quality to me. Still, it might look better when it’s finally released, which apparently will be soon. Sailor Moon will be the first figure released in November.
Now the only thing we need to know is how much these figures will be? Hopefully there won’t be anymore delays.

If figma Shimakaze isn't damaged enough for you, try the figFIX version
[Update: Check out Kahotan's preview!]
I have the figma Shimakaze, and it's a nice figure. What it lacks, though, is the half-damaged version with strategically torn clothing. If that's something you really need on a figma-ish scale, then this figFIX Shimakaze is for you!
Martin covered this figure during WonFes, and it has quickly gotten to pre-order status. Why would you take this over the 1/8-scale version? Well I can't really say, aside from price. This one is only ¥3,900 but it has a small amount of scales - around 1/12, which is really not many scales. She'll be out in April 2015!
