Vinyl Thoughts heading up to New York
The Vinyl Thoughts crew have made Dallas the home for their shows the past three years, but they're about to take over New York! Okay ... maybe just Brooklyn, but Unmasked: Secret Identities and Hidden Desires will be coming to the Bottleneck Gallery in Brooklyn (located at 60 Broadway down in Williamsburg) on April 18. If you haven't guessed what the show's theme is, take a good look at the show's name, because that explains it all.
The full artist line-up can be seen on the poster in our gallery, but it includes the likes of Alarment, Bruscolino, Cody Phillips, Davemarkart, Davidkraig, Ian Ziobrowski, Infinite Rabbits, Jason Chalker, JFury, Matt A*, NERVISWR3K, Rsin, and Soko Cat.
Unmasked runs from April 18 to April 27 at Bottleneck Gallery, a little longer than most of the other Vinyl Thoughts shows. Will any of our NYC readers be heading out to check out the new works on display?

#ToyconUK 2014
Saturday April 12th @ 10am UK-time, the doors at York Hall (5 Old Ford Rd) will swing open to welcome folks to the annual ToyconUK, with this being the second show to be launched, celebrating art toys in the United Kingdom. And while tickets have since been "Sold Out" via online, organizers mentioned "a few" would be available at the door on the day.
Posted above is the layout floor-plan for the hall, with booth numbers on-the-ready for your toy-hunting reference, and as well posted directly below is a schedule of activities to be happening on the main stage, including panels and live customization. I'd really be interested to sit in on the panel about "Resin and 3D printing", but luckily the organizers have mentioned that they would be recording the sessions and "publish them online after the event".
