Bay Says Age of Extinction is "A New Transformers" Giving New Creedence to Reboot Rumors
Thanks to the Transformers Live Action Movie BLOG (TFLAMB) who have posted news of a recent interview from Entertainment Weekly with Transformers Age of Extinction director Michael Bay and actors Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor. While they don't use the word "reboot," it was made pretty clear that the initial trilogy of films is now in the past and we're going into "a new Transformers" as described by the Director. Who goes on to say "It's always good to freshen it up and change the story."

Tomopop Review: Funko's Game of Thrones Mystery Minis Rhaegal
Game of Thrones has proven to be something of a phenomenon. Starting off as a popular book series that appealed more to a geeky fringe, the franchise found mainstream popularity as a show on HBO... although it hadn't really received a ton of merchandise until Funko (sometimes called The Walletslayer) stepped in with a line of Pop!s, 6-inch Legacy figures, and Mystery Minis.
Of these offerings, the Mystery Minis might be the most endearing. These stylized roughly 2.5-inch figures have a certain charm to them and the dragons might be the most charming of the bunch. Today we'll be taking a closer look at Rhaegal, Daenerys' green dragon, from series one.

Sideshow previews Jean Grey (X-Men) statue
Sideshow Collectibles has released a teaser image (along with a chance to win) its upcoming Jean Grey Premium Format figure. The statue depicts mutant in her Jim Lee-styled '90s X-Men costume and will be available for pre-order on April 17th.
I'm honestly not sure what to make of the statue so far, especially given the presumably photoshopped psychic effect. As such, I'll probably have to reserve judgment until Sideshow releases a full photo gallery although, given that it's Jean Grey, I'm hoping for the best.
