Nobody knows how to kill time in class like Seki does in Tonari no Seki-kun: The Master of Killing Time. Be it having one sided Shogi wars, making stamps out of erasers, or playing with a family of robots he can somehow be as elaborate as he wants on his desk without anyone else noticing. That is, except for desk neighbor Yokoi who is always keeping a watchful eye on Seki and often tries to get him to pay attention to class, usually resulting in herself missing the lesson.
While the series hasn't really caught on with any figure makers, Hasegawa has taken notice and is doing a limited run of their 1/12 desk and chair sets for Tonari no Seki-kun. These sets, limited to only 1000, include two pairs of desks and chairs in brown and gray plas along with special mini paper versions of Yokoi's studious desk and Seki's desk complete with volcano and village based on the key art of the series.
This is the type of clever tie-in I like to see from companies. Now somebody just needs to make some 1/12 Seki and Yokoi figures to sit at those desks. I know I'd play with them.

Big Chief Studios have done the Tenth Doctor as part of their Dynamix line previously, but they've done a limited edition version of the figure with some changes. You might notice the color of his pinstriped suit has changed from blue to brown, but the alternate head has the biggest change. For that, they've substituted Ten's regular glasses for something a little more iconic: his 3-D glasses, which instantly makes this version better than the first one in my mind.
The new version of the Tenth Doctor is available right now for £59.99 from Big Chief Studios' shop. It's also a limited run of 500 figures, so keep that in mind when you decide how soon you want to pick one up!
For those wondering who Zombie Magneto really is under that helmet, the answer is... Zombie Magneto (Zoinks! I thought it'd be old man McGreely trying to scare people away from a sunken Spanish galleon). DST Zach has posted a photo that not only demonstrates that the upcoming Marvel Select Zombie Magneto's helmet is removable but there's a fully sculpted, fully painted skull underneath. While it's a great additional display option, I'm curious who (if anybody) would actually display Zombie Magneto without his helmet.

The TFC Toys "Star Dino Team" is still happening! Thanks to Action Figure Checklist, we have some new images of the actual toys including what looks to Not Grimlock, Not Sludge, Not Slag and Not Swoop that were shown in their Dino modes. There is one shot of Grimlock in robot mode who's colors look kind of funky, but other is packed with features such as articulated hands. Check out the images for the full preview till we know more.
X-Transbots have released a new prototype image for their Ollie action figure that pays home to the G1 Wheelie character.
