Kahotan's latest blog is now up and she's got an exclusive look at the largest figure yet to come out of Good Smile, the amazing Bath Time Collection: Swimsuit Girl! Modelled at a staggering life size scale, Swimsuit Girl is outfitted in a lovely polka dot bathing suit, with top notch sculpting all round.

She'll actually float in water too (although Kahotan warns of using temperatures above 40°C) and is fully poseable, with a wind-up splashing mechanism. There's even exclusive bonus shampoo bottles if you buy from the GSC Online Shop. Pre-order now!

Of course, the more canny among you may note that, thanks to the time difference, it's already April 1st in Japan and as such this could merely be an extremely in-depth (and pretty funny) joke. But a major multinational company wouldn't do that to us...would they?

"I had recently been inspired by a lot of illustration art that had themes of dreaming, animals and fairies. And after dozens of doodles on my drafting table, actually many nights of concept doodles one late night that feeling of insomnia crept over me and i inspiration finally got focused and by morning i had these sleepwalking bunnieslipper wearing bunnies and i imagined them as your companions to you on those long nights you can't get to sleep. They'll stay up with you (sort of)."
Shared Peter Kato of the genesis of his latest all-original design and sculpted, hand casted resin cuties named "BEDTIME BUNNIES"! First featured here, they are now ready to be unleashed into the wild on Thursday April 3rd via

There are two different sizes to choose from: Basic "Bunnie" stands 3 inches tall and are priced at US$20 each. "Mini Bunnies" ares priced US$12 and are sized 2 & 1/2 inches tall.
"For this first release i have made a color assortment of Sakura cherryblossom colors (pinks, whites) each with contrasting bodies and slippers. The total assortment i believe is around thirty or so figures (total stock)." -added Peter.

Say what you will about Kaiyodo's Revoltech line but it is, in fact, not dead. Despite facing stiff competition from companies like Max Factory and Bandai, the Revoltech line has continued to find niches in the marketplace where it can thrive. The most exciting -- and most unexpected -- new offering will be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures based on the recent Nickelodeon cartoon.

The photos were purported taken at a Japanese release party for the cartoon (presumably meaning that Japan will be getting a dubbed version, giving fans in the region an opportunity to complain that the sub was better). The figures, which are apparently slated for a September release, will come with a slew of accessories including things like alternate heads, a sliced pizza, a fire hydrant, and sewer-themed stands as well as their weapons.

The TMNT Revoltechs seem to capture the cartoon's style better than the collectibles Playmates has released so far and the alternate heads (featuring comical expressions!) are a very nice touch. Hopefully we'll get an even better look at these in coming weeks.

This commercial for Murphy’s Irish Stout by Production I.G. reminds me how much cooler anime was in the 90’s. You know, before they all took place at some kind of magical karate high school.

Man. Cyberpunk anime really needs to make a comeback.

Not sure if this Pokémon dog cosplay by lefeon-ex is awesome or mean. Can it see? Does it care? But what if it wanted to dress up as Psyduck? Do all dogs really go to heaven?

The End of March has arrived and gone, and I squeezed in a total of 6 x steampunk-themed doodles for the #marchofrobots Instgagram project (Yes, I cheated lol) on the last day, for which I would like to share here, as I am pretty proud of them (and my sincere "thank you" for your indulgence). Each image for "Steampunk Robot Head" clicks thru to their original Instagram-pic, and as well you can check out the entire series of MoR-drawings I had uploaded for the initiative on my TOYSREVILART album :)

Do check out the myriad of awesome-robotness hastagged #marchofrobot on Instagram, and go back initiator Dacosta's "March of Robots" Kickstarter to fund his book! (KS ends April 15th tho, so get o it quick!)
