NECA has been hitting on all cylinders with their Aliens figures recently, offering super-articulated versions of everyone’s favorite xenomorphs. But this month also sees the release of the S.H.MonsterArts Alien from Alien vs. Predator, courtesy of Bandai’s collector-oriented division, Tamashii Nations. I’m hoping to get my hands on one to review in the near future. There […]

To celebrate Tinker Bell's upcoming movie, The Pirate Fairy, the Disney Store has announced that they will be releasing two new Limited Edition dolls, one of Tink and another of the Pirate Fairy herself, Zarina. Each doll is limited to 4,000 pieces, costing US$59.95/ CA$69.95. Both Tinker Bell and Zarina will be released in North American Disney Stores on February 18 then online on February 19. European fans are encouraged to visit their local Disney Store's Facebook page for updates on overseas release dates and pricing.

With all that nitty-gritty out of the way, we can get to appreciating these two figures. While I do enjoy the simplicity of Tinker Bell's dainty outfit (and I simply cannot get enough of her little shoes), I am in awe of the detail in Zarina's pirate get-up. I love the stitching on her dress and belt. And, oh goodness, the coat! The design team clearly had fun with this one.

If you don't want to do the online scramble to attempt to score these dolls, the Disney Store Online also has a cheaper Zarina doll available (US$14.95) along with other toys themed to the new movie (I am all about the baby Tick-Tock plush).

This is one of the figures we saw at BotCon that was said to be the simplified version of their new figures. As many can see, Windrazor is essentially a scaled up / enlarged version of the Legends class Terrorcons figure that was released as part of the Abominus team.
