It’s still hard to really tell what size Yorkie is … though if that “Navy Dusty” is about the same size as a diecast release (this one is plastic), it looks wide enough to land and park some PLANES. I think the shipping info implies he’s around 18″ long? Navy Dusty can buzz the tower. [...]

Urban Vinyl Daily's Sculpt & Swap series is back for a third release, and this time around, Scott Kinnebrew and Jason Chalker are the featured artists. How the series works is that each artist sculpts five custom figures, then sends their figures to their collab partner, who paints the figures. So Scott sculpted figures that Jason painted, and vice versa. Both these guys have very different styles, and you can see it in the releases, with Jason's kit-bashing and sculptwork given a colorful paintjob by Scott, and Scott's creatures likewise painted into mythical beasts by Jason.

Want one? They're blind-boxed and on sale today at noon EST (4 p.m. GMT, 9 a.m. Pacific) for US$75 each. You can find them in the Urban Vinyl Daily store.

Sculpt & Swap Series 3 Main photo

Urban Vinyl Daily shares the latest release in their line of Sculpt & Swap custom series, with the third incarnation featuring the works of Forces of Dorkness and Manly Art. Available here on Wednesday June 26th at Noon EST. Blind boxed at US$75 per pull.
PRESS: "For this installment Scott Kinnebrew (FoD) sculpted five bird themed customs that look very good with Jason Chalker's (Manly Art) paint work laid across them. The other five customs feature a bit of Chalker's kit bashing and sculpting that turned out great with a bit of Kinnebrew's signature paint style."

  • Can I please spend the entire day as happy and fashionable as the little girl in this photo? Holy Hannah she’s just too much! Apparently it’s all because of Zuzii’s adorable sandals. Which, ok, I can believe it. Zuzii started out making jersey knit sandals and booties, and has graduated to these beautiful leather creations. [...]

Shadow panther on the 2005 Boards has posted a new image from Previews magazine revealing two new repaints of the Transformers Prime Optimus Prime and Bumblebee Weaponizer class action figures. The Optimus Prime figure will be made over in green and blue colors. Could this be the Green Lantern Optimus Prime? The Bumblebee figure will be updated in his stealth black and yellow colors. Get a look at both of them after the jump.

Thanks to TFSource who have posted an image of the Transformers Go! Abominus Combiner team that shows the different colors of the Takara Tomy Japan edition. As you can see the figure has darker colors than the Transformers Prime version released by Hasbro here in the USA. View the small image, that at very least we can make out the possible colors from below with another shot of the Hasbro version for you to compare.

It's been quiet for a while... too quiet. Rest assured though, as we are developing ideas on how to push FPC forward and maintain a unique course for the future. We've been working on new features for the site as well as hiring new staff that will help us to continue our vision. This process has not come easy and has taken a while to fund and get the right people on board to help us build and to support this idea.
