Today on their Facebook page, DX9 Toys has shared the first look at their upgrade kit for G1-style Generation Leader Class Megatron on the toy in vehicle mode. As most had anticipated, a large degree of partsforming is required, although the result is not as offensive looking as some may have feared. Keep reading to have a look!
Site sponsor TFSource has shared a photo this afternoon showing off a fully assembled Ordin, the Unique Toys take on Abominus. This shows very clearly how well the proportions are balanced, as the combiner looks like a single, solid unit rather than highlighting the combination of the smaller individuals. Victor Wong has posted a few photos comparing the new Generations Cyclonus to the second edition of Mania King, giving us a look at how one Voyager-size figure stacks up to the other. And as it turns out, they suit each other pretty well! Vincent Lee then went back and took photos with the original release Mania King, whose colors seem to be a better match to Cyclonus. A couple images have turned up today showing a new third party Constructicon project. The prototype seen so far only in incomplete Devastator configurations is being attributed to DX9 Toys, as part of their War In Pocket line of Legends-scale figures. If these are what they seem, we could have a very interesting project getting underway, although most might think that any existing Devastator is already technically scaled better for Legends Class figures. Personally, I just hope they'll come in an orange variation. Click through and have a look at the prototype photos!
Product photos of the third items from the 2015 exclusive boxset have gone up on the Botcon site. Revealed a bit late this past week, Shattered Glass Stepper is the orange, black, and white redeco of Reveal The Shield Jazz which includes the Nightstick Targetmaster mold first seen on this mold with Million Publishing's exclusive Stepper. We're still trying to work out how orange relates to Stepper, but at least Nightstick carries on the blue theme of the exclusives so far. Click through to see the mirrored photos!
