So just who is Bruscolino ArtToys? We've actually posted his work before, but the Italian toy customizer has a bevy of customs posted up on his Facebook page. Bruscolino (a.k.a. Marco Sgammotta) has several works that look a bit gooey and oozing, some leaking water (like H20 and Overflowing) or just drool (the appropriately named Slurp). His others are more traditional painted customs, but they all look pretty cool.
But customs aren't the only thing coming out of the studio. Bruscolino ArtToys is also working on a custom resin DIY figure named Pinna, a little fish-like fellow. Other artists have customized some of his Pinnas, which you can check out on his Facebook page here, and some of them have turned out great. Can't wait to see what he's got in the shop next!
Robots and Cereal is a relative newcomer to the world of collectibles, having opened up shop just last year. In fact, the little fellow you see above, Posbot, is their first release. At 3.5 inches tall (4 inches with the base), Posbot is available in two styles: The Crazy Mango Man and The Abominable Marshmallow Man. Each is sculpted, handcasted and painted by Eric Michael Ella and Hanna Kristine Seguerra, and comes in a bag with a black base and an approximately 3.5-inch by 8-inch poster.
Each Posbot is US$60 (excluding shipping) and limited to only 30 pieces worldwide. To buy one, contact them via Facebook or shoot them an e-mail. Do you like these little rusted robots?
