After looking around my room - I only notice 1 male figure which is Figma Robocop ^^; Had a conversation with many folks in the figure industry about the lack of male figures. Its simply because there are not enough people who would buy them.
The female otaku population tend to buy more items with a low price range but would rarely fork out for a scale figure that costs over 5,000 yen.
Are there any male figures that you would see made into a figure?

New Playge SQUBE arrives Monday, Dec. 3
Playge's latest SQUBE is ready for release, and themed for the season, too. The Ice SQUBE brings us the same 4-inch-by-4-inch-by-4-inch SQUBE sculpt, except this time cast in a translucent blue vinyl. That's really about the only difference this time around, other than the fact only 200 of these are being made.
You can pick up the limited-run Ice SQUBE at Playge's shop for US$55 plus shipping on Monday, Dec. 3, at noon Central (10 a.m. Pacific, 1 p.m. Eastern, 6 p.m. GMT). The SQUBE has never really been my thing, but for the rest of you, are you interested? Or will it take more than a translucent colorway to get you to chase one down?
[NSFW] Vacation Tamaki takes it all off a second time
When this Tamaki from Griffon showed up last year, I absolutely loved it. Of course I adore Tamaki as is, but the naughtier side of me couldn't help be enticed by this version, teasing viewers with just a simple strip of fabric. It seems like I'm not the only one, since Griffon's added her to their growing list of upcoming re-releases, set to arrive in February.
Tamaki is, as usual, as attractive as ever, and while we missed notice of it last time, it appears like that top can be stripped off completely, if you'd rather go the direct route rather than getting a little tease. I missed adding her to my shelves the first time around, but here's hoping for the ¥7,400 to pick her up in a couple months!

ThreeA's Ma.K. Krote up for pre-order
The Three A Toys-Kow Yokoyama Ma.K. Krote figure has finally reached the pre-order stage, and it's looking good. The 1/12-scale Krote will be available in a regular and Bambaland-exclusive version, with illumination and a rotating gun as selling points. That doesn't include the fact it's a fully articulated piece as well. I love the weathered, rusted look to the exterior, though, that makes it look like it's been through the hell of war.
Both versions are in the Bambaland store for US$190. It'll be shipping in the second quarter of 2013. Already picked one up, or planning to do so?
Three BJDs Get Camera Time
First up is Jamieshow Alejandro. I need a really cool wig for him but for now, he's bald and still looks pretty good. He is my only male BJD and probably will always be the only one. His jacket and jeans are Jamieshow items as are the shoes. I might need another outfit or two...
Next...Domina. This doll is just gorgeous. She is wearing Rosa Gloriosa, a SybMonde exclusive fashion. I have de-wigged all of my Sybarites but Domina is staying original. I think she is just perfect.
Last we have Neurotica. She is wearing Meeow. I forgot the name of the wig but it was a gift from a lovely friend in Portugal.
Meeow is a very strange and wonderful outfit but doesn't fit the new body perfectly. I think that in parts, it will be better than all together as it is now. The sweater has to go.

Cu-poche Saber
Kotobukiya have kindly allowed me to be the first to publish photos of their up n coming Cu-Poche Saber! We have seen a few photos of her unpainted but here she is with a fresh lick of paint.
This fully articulated Saber from Fate/stay night and Fate/Zero series will be announced officially on the Kotobukiya official site sometime soon so keep your mince pies peeled. Until then I'm not allowed to mention the release date or price or I will be impaled on the nearest spear ><
If you like puchi figures but wanted more articulation then the Cu-Poche series would be something for you to keep an eye out for.
The base has a metal plate and the feet have magnets in them to help out with posing even without the arm support.
Just like other puchi figure series, Cu-Poche come with swappable faces.
Awesome fine details!
Cu-Poche comes with a load of accessories too to poke your best friends eyes out.
And this is what she would look like by your desk.
I've streamlined a few processes to enable me bring you more figure reviews right from the offices of the manufacturers - keep your eye out for more soon!
In the meantime, some other figure related posts listed up below.
