This group photo taken with some of the comrades who stayed until the end - the full sized version now lives on Flickr.
Ah, quick note to mention that my next gathering will be at Jurong Regional Library on Saturday November 17th in Singapore - 444 people have already registered ^^;;
Also, apologies for lack of updates - not much sleep lately - the AFA2012 schedule was gruelling (but fun!) and I was on stage for most of the time. Those of you who keep an eye on my Facebook, Twitter or Instagram will have been keeping up with my updates though - most of it has been posted from my phone while on the move.

New works emerge from Grizzry Panda
Grizzry Panda has been hard at work lately, it seems. Other than attending Treasure Festa in Kobe (as well as announcing he'll be at the upcoming Tresure Festa in Ariake), he's completed some new kits and statues. One of those happens to be the Dark Angel Miku from Project DIVA f. It's looking pretty darn good and as detailed as we might expect, right down to the shimapan, apparently. The other ... the other is a gigantic Miku Dayo. Almost Nendoroid Jumbo sized at first glance if that smaller Miku is a regular Nendoroid. So if you thought the Nendoroid was terrifying enough, now she's got a bigger sibling.
Also posted to his blog were shots of his sculpts for the Heart Hunter Miku from Project DIVA and the Tell Your World Miku, which both are looking pretty nice. Check out the gallery for all the photos and let us know which one you like ... or if you'd really want that big Miku Dayo.
JB's BATMAN TATTOO ART - The Scarecrow and Joker Too!!
Next up is a Classic! Yes, everyone will notice this is the Joker from the cover to "The Killing Joke" Graphic Novel, nice!
Then, the last 2 pics show an amazing picture of the Scarecrow with a pitchfork ( extremely cool! ) and another Joker image where he is wearing an interesting suit. ( Thanks for sharing these fun pics JB! )
BEWARE THE BATMAN - New Images from the CGI Animated TV Series!
We have not received any fresh news about this show in quite awhile but check out these 2 new photos that just surfaced. The first one gives us a glimpse of Batman and 2 of his new sidekicks, Katana and Alfred J. Pennyworth. ( Thank You, Zdravko! )
Under the Radar: Cult of Toy's Johnny Birdman
Cult of Toy has revealed its first in-house project, an interesting looking sculpt by the name of Johnny Birdman. Yes, true to his name, it appears Johnny has a few bird friends resting on his arms, head and quite big horns. He also looks to be staring at the little birds quizzically, as if unsure what to do with these little feathered beasts perched in his hand and all over him.
Designed by British pop surrealist artist Mr. Mead, Johnny Birdman will stand a full 16 inches tall and there should be a painted version soon, with other colorways possibly to come in the future. We'll also likely be getting details down the line on price, release date and run sizes, but what's your thoughts on this piece in its prototype form?
