Wonder Festival 2017 (Winter): Anime Garage Kits (Part 1)
And so, after a short break while we gathered info and sorted photos, we now return to our wonder festival coverage and we begin as we always do with a gallery to anime garage kits.
As you can probably tell, in a move that should surprise nobody, Rem from Re:Zero was insanely popular at the event! Rem fans can go away and season their food in their victory feast with the salty tears of the Emilia fans, who got nothing. Nope, not even one kit! Heck, even Felt got a kit!!
Elsewhere, Girls und Panzer and Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio continue to be a popular draw and we have a few other classic shows with new kits as well but as far as anime garage kits go, this time Rem is undoubtedly Queen.
Next up, we have something really special!

Wonder Festival 2017 (Winter): Video Game Garage Kits (Part 1)
Isn't she beautiful? I have no qualms with professing my affections for my favourite characters. Sitting on the throne at the top is Sheryl Nome but coming up behind her is KOS-MOS and this bust of the android is just stunning!
It has been a while since I've seen a kit which really fills me with desire but this one has managed it. Sadly, it was not on sale (and doesn't even look finished) so we can only look from afar.
Aside from KOS-MOS, Granblue fantasy pretty much ruled the roost for video game garage kits, though KanColle still had a presence and there were many GK makers who wanted to make sure that we didn't forget that this was the year of Fate!
But, damn... that KOS-MOS!

Wonder Festival 2017 (Winter): Misc Garage Kits (Part 1)
And now, we get the the miscellaneous gallery, where I put the original kits, ones I was not able to identify or just simply didn't fit into one of the other galleries. I mean, where DO you put kits of characters from eroge?
I do like the designs for the Taimanin games though, and Asagi is probably my favourite character from the series.We also have some original works and a mecha which actually combines to form a bigger one! The hyper detailed chinese warriors kits are also something to behold. I think they are based off characters from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms but I'll be damned if I know which ones!

MP-34 Cheetor In Hand Pictures of Beast Wars Masterpiece Figure
As we come up on the last weekend of the month, it's time for new toys in Japan, and highly anticipated on that score is Masterpiece Cheetor. Twitter user @ZEAMTIGER has already gotten hold of Cheetor and has been sending out a variety of photos giving us our first real in hand look. Though right now no comparisons with MP Optimus Primal are shown, you can see Cheetor side by side with the Generations molds of Rattrap and Rhinox, showing how one scales well and the other... doesn't.
