Bluefin asks your favorite Power Rangers villain general
In the latest installment of their polls to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Power Rangers, Tamashii Nations wants to know about the villains. Sure, we all remember Rita and Zedd, but what about the number two? The guy that actually fights them, is actually strong but still ends up failing. That's the subject of this week's poll, as Bluefin would like to know who is your favorite Power Rangers villain general.
You've got four options for this poll, but really, do you expect anyone to win over Goldar? If you must insist though, there is also Ecliptor, Rito Revolto, and Darkonda. You're going to choose Goldar though and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. In fact, that's what you should be doing right now. Voting for Goldar. Why? He's the guy who you want to fight your S.H. Figuarts Rangers as well as the SRC Megazord. Hell, have S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ranger and Goldar to team up against the Megazord to recreate the Green with Evil arc. Yes, this is a good idea.

Under the Radar: Icon Heroes' 'Jawbridge' is jawesome
First off, I should mention that Icon Heroes' replica of Castle Grayskull's front gate and drawbridge (more affectionately known as the "jawbridge") is intended (and advertised) as a business card holder. However, I imagine that it was more a case of Icon Heroes designing this awesome prop after which they tried to figure out a "practical" application.
Whatever the case may be, The Castle Grayskull Business Card holder (not to be confused with their other Castle Grayskull replica) is cool mostly because of the working Jawbridge. This replica is an extremely abridged (almost to the point of nearly being unrecognizable) version of The Masters of the Universe (a.k.a. He-Man) Castle Skull. While the design seems slightly awkward, it's still almost instantly recognizable as being home to the heroic He-Man. Beyond that, it has a really cool generic fantasy vibe (resembling Legend of Zelda dungeon entrances, for starters) and, at 5-inches tall, almost works as a background prop for smaller figures (Mega Blocks sized ones may be ideal, such as the new World of Warcraft ones).
Besides being a massively inefficient business card solution, this replica can store Icon Heroes' previously released He-Man Power Sword Letter Opener. The Castle Grayskull Business Card Holder can be pre-ordered for US$35 and is slated to come out later this year.

STGCC 2012 version of Lion-O only looks like a bootleg
Big Bad Toy Store is the exclusive American distributor of the STGCC (Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention) 2012 "Lion-O". While the red-armored Lion-O might look like a bootleg, it's apparently a disguised Mumm-Ra whom changed into Lion-O for a mirror match.
This con exclusive makes use of the same 8-inch Lion-O ThunderCats Classic mold that Bandai produce general retail alongside Tygra, in addition to including a re-colored stand accessory previously seen with the SDCC (San Diego Comic Con) 2011 version. The only real difference is the red armor color scheme, which makes it a relatively straight forward, boring variant that may only appeal to the truly hardcore fans. The packaging features some new art on the card (including a limited edition notice on the front) but, given that most of the changes are on the back, it probably doesn't have much display value in-package.
While I personally don't remember the episode, supposedly this actually happened. I guess it's not too outrageous by the standards of a show that had its characters fighting on top of spaceships in one episode. While I understand that this was likely an easily produced variant, I'm still a little surprised that Bandai of Asia would bother so trivial (perhaps they had a lot of unsold figures they just repainted?). Before anybody gets their hopes up as to the continuation of Bandai-produced ThunderCats merchandise, just remember that this is Bandai of Asia rather than America. I would expect that the American resurgence died with the cartoon.
You can pre-order this limited edition (billed as being fewer than a thousand pieces) from BBTS for US$70. Or you can buy a normal Lion-O off Amazon for about US$8 and paint its armor red.

Grabbing The Brass Ring With This Unusual Vintage Steiff Dog
What we have here is Steiff's wonderful Waldi, the long haired Dachshund. Waldi is 10 cm, standing on all fours, unjointed, and made from copper colored mohair. He has sweet, longish ears which have been tacked to the side of his head with a stitch or two. Waldi's face is detailed with shiny black glass eyes and a black hand embroidered nose. His mouth is indicated by a little black airbrushing. Waldi wears his original green leather collar and has his red, tan, yellow, and blue "watermelon" shaped bear faced tag, with his name imprinted in crimson.
