Wonder Festival 2016 Summer: KaColle Garage Kits (part 1)
KanColle still continues its iron grip on the dealer section of Wonder Festival but at least its dominance isn't quite on the level as previous events, where it was actually painful to sift through.
Kashima is also a popular pick these days, which is also pretty good, because her design is rather nice. Iowa is another popular choice now but the German ships have fallen to the wayside. No Graf Zeppelins for example! What's up with that? In any case, I'm sure we can all agree that KanColle isn't going to go anywhere and it's pretty much taken the slot last held by the Vocaloids. You will see a fair number of KanColle kits at events for quite some time!

Wonder Festival 2016 Summer: Misc Garage Kits (part 1)
And here's the first of our miscellaneous kit gallery. As usual, these kits are those which I was unable to identify, are original designs or simply come from a title which doesn't really fit the previous categories.
The steampunk Alice in wonderland kits have been seen before but there are a few new entries in the series this time around and the kit of the polar bear is really kind of out there. Didn't expect that! Personally, I found the dragon girl and the floating head to be really impressive as well. I'm sure they're based off some title but I have no idea what. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Wonder Festival 2016 Summer: Anime Garage Kits (part 3)
For such a popular anime, you would think that One-Punch man would get more figures than it has. Well, the big companies have given us a few Tatsumakis and a couple of Geonas but that's about it.
But at least we got one figure of Saitama in the dealer floor, but I'd rather see some Fubuki!! There are also a lot of chibi figures from Girls und Panzer dotted around as well. Rori also shows up along with Leilei but no sign of Tuka or Yao (or any of the female knight group for that matter...).
One figure of note for me was the Busou Shinki Straf. Unlike other kits from the series (Grizzry Panda, I'm looking at you!) this one seems to stick more closely to the original design, even though it's lacking the usual weaponry for the Shinki. Still, it may be the lighting on the display but it looks pretty cool, don't you think?

Wonder Festival 2016 Summer: KanColle Garage Kits (part 2)
If nothing else, it's good to see the overall quality of KanColle kits to have improved over recent events. Before, it was only really the abyssal fleet figures which truly impressed but now, we have quite a few kits of the ship girls increase in terms of details and posing.
And, of course, you get the sheer ridiculous stuff like the 1/1 scale Kashima... Even without the behemoth, Kashima takes another starring role in this gallery as she is easily the most popular shipgirl at this years wonder festival. Could this simply be fatigue with regards to the other ship girls? We don't see any Kongou or Bismark kits this time around, but Atago and Shimakaze are still around.
I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens at later events to see if KanColle can maintain its dominance in the dealer floor.

Wonder Festival 2016 Summer: Misc Garage Kits (part 2)
I have to admit that I'm not the biggest fan of the Japanese Kaiju movies but even I have to put my hands up and say that this Godzilla skeleton figure is pretty damn cool!
Still, it adds to the weirdness that is the miscellaneous gallery along with the model of a spirit with an old mans face and a set of cinema seats! Yes, that image with the Desktop army figures and the FA:G girl is actually meant to be about the seats they are on!
The biker girl is also a kit which I really like and is an original work from Vispo. I actually wish I tried to go for that one... hopefully, it will appear at later events.

Wonder Festival 2016 Summer: Anime Garage Kits (part 4)
And now, we have reached the last stretch of the garage kit coverage for Wonder Festival Summer 2016!
We end the Anime kit roundup with a better look at the Love Live! kits as well as a number of magical girls in the form of Precure kits and Maria from Senki Zessho Symphogear. Of course, Girls und Panzer get a couple more kits and we even get some Strike Witches characters as well!
Of course, I have to give a shoutout to the little Suu from Monster Musume figure. The one in the bucket! Whoever thought up that idea is a genius!
