Master Made Diabolus Rex Prototype Images Of Unofficial SD Style Trypticon
We've got some nice pictures of a grey prototype stage copy of Diabolus Rex, the next entry in Master Made's SDT series. Based on Trypticon, the proportion tweaks don't show through as strongly on this design versus Titan, their take on Metroplex. Some may find this interesting as a general stand in for a normal updated Trypticon with both dinosaur and base modes represented. Design Artwork For The Decepticon Justice Division's Newest Member, Nickel, From MTMTE 39
Writer James Roberts has tweeted a scan of the finalized design artwork for Nickel, who debuted in More Than Meets The Eye #39, as designed by guest artist for that issue Hayato Sakamoto. Not seen in the issue, but represented in the art is Nickel's vehicle mode, which can modify for land, air, or water use. While Nickel's next appearance is likely to vary a little from this, especially if Alex Milne handles art for that issue, it's fun to see some of the details issue 39 couldn't show us. Robots In Disguise Ultra Magnus And Patrol Strongarm Legion Class Figures New Stock Images
Amazon's product pages for upcoming Legion Class RID figures Patrol Strongarm and Ultra Magnus now feature stock photos of both figures. Magnus is a recolor of Legion Class Optimus Prime, with the deco favoring that Optimus design quite well; Patrol Strongarm is a black and white deco of Strongarm. Inki-Drop invites you to taste the oceans with upcoming Seawater Sweeties Kickstarter
Fans of sea creatures and food may be excited to hear about Inki-Drop's upcoming Kickstarter which will feature three food-styled animal plushies.
The line-up includes the Mint Chocoturtle (a mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwich sea turtle), the Loin Shark (a pork-based shark that looks like it would be at home in One Piece), and the Eclair Pastry Otter. The Kickstarter is set to launch August 11th at 4PM PST and will run for 25 days.
While the concepts seem creative, I'm afraid I may never be able to eat mint chocolate chip ice cream again (and I had almost finally gotten over reading Junji Ito's "Ice Cream Bus"!). That aside, all three designs are very cute and are sure to make a splash when the Kickstarter opens next week. Expect additional photos and details then.
