Embrace Japan's Wonder Festival offerings had a clear highlight: the Ryu and Alex statues from Street Fighter III: Third Strike, mostly because ... well, was anyone expecting Alex? I wasn't, and Embrace's painted Alex looks pretty darn awesome. Both are set in 1/8-scale and should be out in 2016.

Beyond that, there's a new colorway of Embrace's previous Sol Badguy statue, and Souther from Hokuto no Ken: Ichigo Aji as a prototype ... but I'm just more excited about the SFIII license and what that might entail. It'd be pretty awesome to finally get a Dudley statue, wouldn't it?

Tomenosuke will be teaming up with Cardboard Spaceship to release a new series from Circus Posterus members - Amanda Louise Spayd and Chris Ryniak. As I comb through all this WonFes coverage, I have to say the showing from MegaHouse feels a little uninspired. Honestly, they've never been a go-to brand for me. I'm never watching my news feeds wondering what they're up to next.

If you're interested in what they have, you can check out the coverage at Hobby Search and Akiba Hobby. They brought a smattering of sexy girl figures such as the fighter and hunter from Bikini Warriors, a racy version of Alleyne from Queen's Blade: Vanquished Queens, and Seiten from Queen's Blade Grimoire.

Some other interesting ones include a bite-sized Metal Gear, Jessie/Musashi from Pokemon, and a new Yuki figure for Yamato 2199.

I kind of wish they'd continue with Vanillaware figures as I really liked their Dragon's Crown stuff. But I guess there are enough manufacturers making those now.
