Diamond Select Toys, makers of the popular Marvel Select line, recently announced plans to get back into making statues based on the comic versions of Marvel characters.
These plans are for a re-launch of DST's high-end Marvel Premier Collection and the inclusion some of Marvel's leading ladies in the mid-range Femme Fatales line (which recently picked up characters from the DC Animated Universe).
The Premier Collection, which ran from 2004 to 2008, was sculpted by none other than Clayburn Moore who, as DST's art director, will oversee the line and handle the lead sculpting duties. The first new statue in the line is an unmasked Wolverine in his classic John Byrne brown & tan outfit underneath a leather jacket. He's depicted as trekking through a snowy wilderness scene, quite possibly as an homage to the time he spent in Canada. Later entries will include Thor and Gamora (Guardians of the Galaxy).
The Marvel Femme Fatales will lead off with Captain Marvel, Spider-Gwen, and the new (female) Thor. Apparently there will be a similar 9-inch line featuring male heroes (perhaps called the Dashing... etc, I've got nothing. Is there even a male counterpart for the Femme Fatale?) which will include Spider-Man and Hulk.
The Femme Fatales line offers an incredible product for its price point, but I'm not as sure about the Marvel Premier Collection considering the price point and quality puts it in a more competitive space. Given that we've only seen one statue thus far, it's hard to judge how it may fare.
The Marvel Premier Collection Wolverine is currently available for pre-order with a US$200 list price. He's apparently slated for either a Winter 2015 or an early 2016 release. The statue stands roughly 9 inches tall on a 10-in by 15-in base and is limited to 3,000 pieces.

Corbot V, best known for their War Axe accessory designed for Generations War For Cybertron Optimus Prime has revealed a new project, moving to the realm of a complete figure. Project: Reyes is based on the Quintessons' alligator sentries from the G1 cartoon, and can clearly be seen to be transformable in the current CG render shown. Maketoys has updated the product page for their next "Manga Mech" series entry, Rear End, also known as "not-Tailgate". This very IDW styled figure looks like a step up from the earlier effort of representing Swerve's comic design, capturing the character very nicely. The set was also said to include extra parts to convert Deluxe Cyclonus to more resemble the comic design, though these elements aren't pictured.
