Today, TFSource shared on their Facebook a few images of X-Transbots' Arkose, a Masterpiece-scale figure based on Beachcomber. Seen with a variety of other figures of similar scale, both official and otherwise, we get a sense of how it fits in, and an early hint at the colors through this hand-painted piece. TAG Hobby has posted photos from a toy demo event held in Hong Kong by Hasbro. While such things as SDCC exclusive Combiner Hunters and both flavors of Devastator were on hand, also shown were the Deluxes and Battle Core Optimus from Combiner Wars wave 4. Included in these are good out of package looks at Prowl in particular. Unfortunately Optimus Maximus was only seen with Rodimus attached, so still no chance to look at the rumored retooling of the inner chest detail. Click through to check out the mirrored images!
Despite that issue 43 hasn't shipped yet, we already have our first look at issue 44 thanks to iTunes. We expect issue 43 next week, leaving only two weeks between it and the projected ship date of the following issue. Whether that will remain on target is unclear, but in the past when similar delays have put successive issues so close together, the latter has typically ended up pushed back itself.
