Combiner Wars - Protectobot Streetwise Out of Package Photos of Wave 3 Dead End Retool
GENETIC at TFND has released a new batch of photos this morning, and as promised with yesterday's Blades images, Streetwise is the star. Seen side by side with Dead End, the extent of the retooling is hinted at (hood, roof, torso, head, and lower legs) which manages to make Streetwise a completely different kind of car, making a Ferrari in to a Lamborghini. Plus Streetwise comes with a fantastic triple-barrel shotgun. This is looking really nice, so click through and check out the photos for yourself!

Koto's Bishoujo Black Canary sculpt recently on display
Kotobukiya showed off the long-overdue DC Bishoujo Black Canary during its WonderCon Anaheim 2015 panel. The artwork for Black Canary was first revealed over two years during Toy Fair 2013.
A Kotobukiya rep has once again confirmed that real fishnet stockings will be featured on the final product (so stop asking already, folks!). While I'm generally a fan of just sculpting that detail on, it seems to be a trend when it comes to Black Canary (since even *Mattel* did it with the DCUC version) and may have a better look to it.
It's a remarkably good-looking design and I hope that it holds up well when painted when we next see it in another two years.

BBTS have just let us know they have posted new images and orders for the PE-DX05 Leonidas Ultimate Lio Convoy homage figure. The Perfect Effect Leonidas figure stands about 9" (23cm) tall in robot mode and contains die-cast parts. This fierce transforming beast changes from a robot warrior into a lion and boasts over 60 points of articulation. The figure will be shipping June 2015 for a price of $149.99 USD.

TFormers Review - Combiner Wars Breakdown
It's funny, this is probably the first Breakdown toy made to be G1 Breakdown since the G1 toy. It's funnier still that this comes out about a year after the most recent Fun Publications take, also in G1 colors. Needless to say, the market got a bit flooded by those by the time this started coming out. And you know, combiner functionality regardless, I think the response is justified. Read the review!
