Sword Art Online gets another addition to its dollfie dream family
Ever wonder if Volks are overdoing things a little with their Dollfie Dream Releases? Not only are they prepping for a Snow Miku release as well as the two Macross F ladies, hot on the heels of the Dolls Party event in Kyoto, they've just announced the next two releases on their calendar.
The absurdly popular Sword Art Online gets another release to go with Asuna in the shape of Sinon in her Gun Gale Online avatar. She will come with a handgun and her trusty Hecate sniper rifle in her eventual release. The Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls also gets another release to complete the starring trio from the anime show in the form of Honda Mio. Miku also gets another costume as well.
No news on release or price yet but I suspect that they will be lottery releases at the next dollpa event. If you're interested, Dollfie World has more images of the doll from Volks News 63, particularly for Sinon. There are also other dresses and items as well, which will be available soon.

Threezero shows off their first TMNT figures
Threezero has another license under its roof, this one being Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and specifically the live-action films. Yes, the Michael Bay ones. They've also announced their first two 1/6-scale figures for the line: Michaelangelo and Leonardo. Both come with their signature weapons, their movie designs and several extra sets of hands for posing. Mikey also will have his skateboard as an extra accessory.
If you must have the Bay-verse TMNT figures, they'll be in the Threezero store as a pair for US$380. Pre-orders start Thursday at 9 a.m. Hong Kong Time (that's 9 p.m. Wednesday EDT, 2 a.m. UTC).

DX9 Toys To Offer Upgrade Parts For Generations Leader Class Megatron
This afternoon on their Facebook page, DX9 revealed a photos of the Generations G1 Leader Megatron wearing an array of new parts. Their AL-01 kit brings a cap for the barrel of the arm cannon to cover the missile launcher and give it a bigger fusion cannon-style end, new hands, a shoulder gun barrel, extra parts to thicken the legs, and new shoes that are shown to permit a range of ankle movement and adds just over half an inch to the height. Combiner Wars - Comic Book Variant Drag Strip Now Appearing In Stores
Through multiple reports we've learned that the first of the wave 1 Deluxes have reappeared with pack-in comic books. Drag Strip is currently appearing in a revision case assortment of wave 2 currently going out to Wal-Marts. While a full reship case of wave 1 is planned over the summer, this is the first opportunity to get any of those figures in the corrected packaging. Drag Strip comes with Robots in Disguise #12, "City on Fire". T-Hybrid took a picture of the extended bio on the back cover, so click through to check that out!

Shine on, you crazy diamond clone trooper! Funko brings 4 new Hikaris to SWC
Pop!s won't be the only exclusives that Funko will be bringing to Star Wars Celebration 2015, as the company also intends to sell FOUR Premium Hikari at the event: "Star" Clone Trooper, "Icey" Storm Trooper (not to be confused with Icey Wiener, one of Bart's prank calls to Moe's Tavern), "Verdigris" Greedo, and "Matte Black" Boba Fett.
Basically this is almost every Star Wars Hikari up for pre-order thus far in a new deco (all we're missing is Bossk). The best of the lot is definitely the "Star" Clone Trooper with his neat diamond-y appearance which jives well with the normal white deco. Hopefully the same design will be applied to a Storm Trooper in the future as well.
My second favorite of the bunch is the "Verdigris" Greedo which has a rather distinct look. Of course, the "Matte Black" Boba Fett is neat as well (in fact, nicer than the first Fett we saw) and the same might be said of the "Icey" Storm Trooper (which also has something of a pun going on there with the whole ice storm thing).
Those who want to pick one of these up can do so at Funko's booth at the event (#1410).
