Kotobukiya's Inazuma is ready to sortie
In an anime full of moe shipgirls, Inazuma is perhaps the most moe of them all. Her timid personality hasn't stopped her debut as a Kotobukiya scale figure, though!
This version is based on the KanColle anime design. Her expression stands in contrast to the more energetic look of her sister Ikazuchi - I think they'd go well together as a pair.
Pre-orders are up now for ¥9,000. Inazuma will set sail in September!

Bandai rolls out another Iron Man in the fight against Ultron
Are you hyped for Avengers: Age of Ultron? I certainly hope so, otherwise this post will mean nothing to you. Since Marvel Studios probably has a directive to always be cranking out new Iron Man armors, the upcoming film will feature the 45th version (I believe Mark 8 through Mark 42 were destroyed in Iron Man 3).
I have to say, I do like this color scheme better than the champagne gold Mark 42 - a color I associate with midsize sedans. This one looks more like the hot rod it's supposed to, and the silver accents look slick.
You can pre-order one now for ¥5,800 but they've been selling out fast! The figure's set for an August release.

Embrace the Dark Hadou with Oni Akuma
Street Fighter is a funny franchise, isn't it? Its roots are humble enough, but like the Fast and Furious series, each subsequent installment gets more and more insane. It has gone from a relatively small game about, well, street brawlers to an action-fantasy featuring actual demons.
That brings us to this figure by Kinetiquettes, a 1/6-scale 9kg hunk of polystone featuring Oni Akuma about to lay the smackdown on someone. The victim on the receiving end is intended to be Evil Ryu. If you have the latter figure, their bases indeed fit together to form one dramatic scene!
Oni Akuma is set for a Q3 2015 release. You can pre-order as a single payment of $378, or in three monthly installments of $126.
