ThreeA's Real Steel Midas looking golden
Following Ambush in ThreeA Toys' Real Steel figure series is the golden warrior Midas, with his centurion helmet-shaped head. ThreeA and HKFigureClub have posted a few new photos of Midas, who's looking pretty beat up but rather impressive. I like how the bot's structure does a good job of hiding some of the joints, though not quite to the extent of figma RoboCop.
No word yet on when to expect Midas or what price he'll be at, but we'll let you know the info as soon as we have it. In the meanwhile, are any of you excited about Midas or any of the other Real Steel bots being made?

They Came From The Streets 2 opens June 1
Last year's They Came From The Streets show returns for Round 2, presented again by the folks at Urban Vinyl Daily. Like last year, the focus is on customized 4-inch and 7-inch Munny and Munnyworld figures, along with other original art inspired by street art. The show's artist list is quite large, too, and it includes Frank Kozik, Scott Tolleson, Gary Ham, Dril One, Eyeone, 64Colors, Valleydweller, Steve Talkowski, Rsin, Lunartik, ViseONE, Task One, Luke Chueh, Jason Tharp, NERVISWR3K, Ian Ziobrowski, Abe Lincoln Jr., Scribe (and Alisa), Squink!, A Little Stranger, JFury, Jon Chase, JC Rivera, Maxx242, Chase Tafoya, Chris Brett, Dez Einswell, Terribly Odd, Jason Gallo, and Cache.
Festivities kick off Friday, June 1 at UNHeardof (323 W. 4th St., Cincinnati, Ohio). Seems like it could be a pretty fun event, and as we see any customs for the show pop up, we'll bring them to you!
