DyDo gives Nintendo fans a reason to buy its coffee
Whether you drink coffee or not, DyDo coffee will appeal to Nintendo fans with a new Super Mario Bros. minifigure promo which features NES-styled sprites of characters with warp pipe bases.
While I'm not familiar with the brand, apparently it's run similar promos in the past as well (although never seen in the US, Japanese beverage companies have done similar promotions from time to time). Personally I don't drink coffee (which might be why I have a hard time staying awake and alert), but it's the sort of thing that could convince me to buy a thing of coffee if I lived in Japan (which I then wouldn't drink).
The figures have an awesome retro appeal, although they've seemingly gained a dimension since there appears to be some depth to them. The selection includes Mario, (fire flower?) Luigi, Bowser/King Koopa, Princess Peach (or Princess Toadstool, as she was known at the time), a goomba, a koopa troopa, Toad, and Lakitu (spikies sold separately?).

Generations Leader Class Armada Megatron New In-Hand Photos
Black Plastic Life has posted an article covering the Armada Megatron version of the Generations Leader Megatron mold, giving us our first detailed look at the figure. Megatron is shown in both modes, with comparisons to the G1 version of this body, as well as appearances by some older toys. One aspect sure to be a highlight for some fans is the revelation that with a bit of ingenuity the Armada Tidal Wave mold can be attached to the toy without modifications to either figure. Bold Forms' Lone Wolf Combining Motormaster-Inspired Figure Test Shot Gallery
Fan G1Hexatron has received an early test shot copy of an upcoming product from Bold Forms which we reported on some months ago. Their Lone Wolf figure based on Motormaster, developed before Combiner Wars was revealed has since been reworked to be compatible with the official combiner toys. If some of the rougher elements of the design can be tweaked it may have appeal to some as an alternative to the official Motormaster figure, but it remains to be seen if its Combiner Wars interactivity will preserve its relevance.
