Forbes Earnings Preview: Hasbro
Give-away time!
The nefarious, notoriously sly, and hard to catch Catwoman Rabbit! I was hoping that the Joker and Harley Quinn Rabbits would also make an appearance at ECCC, but they never showed. I decided to create Catwoman Rabbit in her old-school look, since that is the look that I remember most from my childhood. Although goggles Catwoman is my favorite Catwoman look now that I'm older.
Catwoman Rabbit is not quite her true self, and here comes the crux of how you can win this giveaway:
Leave a comment here with your name and email address, and tell me what isn't quite right/true to the comic book image about/of Catwoman Rabbit. (the fact that she's a Rabbit doesn't count.) Right answers will be added into the pile, and the winner will be picked at random out of a hat by midnight PST on Saturday, April 28th, 2012.
On the off-chance that there aren't any right answers: (it's not that hard a question, so I doubt this will be the case ;D) I will post the answer along with the winner on Sunday April 29th. To pick a winner in this scenario: I will add all the names into a hat and randomly select a winner from the pool.
PLEASE remember to leave me your email address, otherwise I won't be able to contact you if you win!
Good luck!

This Pokémon Arcade Looks Awesome.
From the ever-growing list of rad shit that Japan gets and doesn’t share with the rest of the world comes Pokémon Tretta, an arcade game from Marvelous AQL. The game let’s you hunt for Pokémon on engage in 3-on-3 battles. When you catch a Pokémon, you’re given a Tretta — a real-world hunk of plastic with the caught Pokémon’s picture on it to collect and trade with friends. Trettas can then be scanned by the game to use in battle.
Pokémon Tretta drops in Japan this July. Accessories like Tretta cases from Tomy will be released shortly after.
There are no words for the amount of jealousy and loathing currently coursing through my veins.

DRACU-RIOT
Apart from being in her own anime, and as my host on Culture Japan, Mirai Suenaga also collaborates with many companies in the Japanese anime and game world. So far she's been in the Kadokawa anime Twin Angel, the King Records anime Mayochiki, the Nitroplus game Sonicomi and lately she was in the Yuzusoft game DRACU-RIOT which was just released!
DRACU-RIOT is an eroge where you do what comes natural to you and to help you there are a load of cute girlies - here are the 4 main characters.
Miu Yarai is my fave - I love here eyes! I also love her optical eyes too.
Azusa Mera is the loli and a sweetie too - such a cute voice!
Rio Inamura serves some delicious pie.
Elina - voted the most popular out of all the characters in a poll over at Yuzusoft - which is your fave?
There is a poll embedded in this article.
Managed to get my grubby mitts on two shikishi signed by the Yuzusoft artists Kobuichi-sensei and Muririn-sensei.
In the last Desk Diary, I mentioned that I needed new curtains - I think I'll use these for a while ^^; Both Yuzusoft goodies.
More DRACU-RIOT goodies from the event in Akihabara last weekend.
DRACU-RIOT poster signed by both sensei.
In DRACU-RIOT, Mirai-chan makes an appearance all over the place - here in her Winter Uniform in a poster.
Mirai-chan in her bikini by the pool.
Mirai-chan in her Solar Marine Uniform out n about.
Mirai-chan in Solar Marine Uniform in the Mirai Millennium street banners.
Mirai-chan in her Winter Uniform out n about. There are actually many more places where you can spot Mirai - check out the game and see if you can find all of her appearances!
You can first check out the trial version where you can spot Mirai a couple of times.
Mirai-chan has been doodled for us by Kobuichi-sensei - look forward to seeing more artwork from her! In the meantime - get this wallpaper and others form the Mirai Suenaga Wallpaper post.
How to Tell Time in Japanese
Apart from building the Yuzusoft website, I also developed this free iPhone app called DRACLOCK. It features all 4 heroines from the game DRACU-RIOT and I developed it to help you learn how to tell the time in Japanese! There is no easier way to learn Japanese than being taught by cute 2D girlies!
You can set the clock to automatically read out the time every 30, 15, 10, 5 or 1 minute in the voice of your fave character - or just tap the clock.
You can display the characters in a selection of costumes with the background of your choice. You can even tweet the current time - the app will take a screenshot and upload it for you like this.
On the day of release, it climbed up to the top 10 free utility charts in the App Store. The app originally had a bikini option but Apple rejected it because they decided that stabbing people was OK but bikinis were not - I'm still confused as to why there are so many games in the App Store where you can go around shooting or stabbing people and yet such peaceful bikinis are not allowed.
Anyway - this app is free and hopefully after using it for a while, you should be able to tell the time in Japanese too! This app was developed together with iOS Meister Ken Lee. Am working on MiraiClock3 for the Android and if I got spare cycles then will do DRACLOCK for the Android too.
