Tonner Doll Company To Play The Hunger Games
Pre-order God Eater Burst's Alisa, comrade
I've always wanted to try Namco's strangely named God Eater Burst, but never had the opportunity to get my hands on it. I always had the impression from the box artwork that it had some sort of Soviet feel to it, and with a name like Alisa Ilynichna Amiera here, it looks like I was right. While I still don't know too much about the entire game, I can certainly see that this lady is as lovely as her name is complicated.
Plum's done a fantastic job overall with this figure, even if I might not be the biggest fan of her, well, unrealistically sized assets. That aside, it's easy to overlook, as I find the rest of the figure all too compelling. I've always been a fan of red and black uniforms (Where's my Final Fantasy Type-0, Square?), and the emotion captured in her expression is simply delicious.
You can grab a pre-order in now, and she'll cost about ¥7,800. She might be from a rather niche source, but that certainly won't stop me. Anyone else interested out there?

A Little Bit on the Unrealism Side: This not-so-real Wacom Realism would save me so much time. Just point it at whatever color you want to copy and boom, there it is. No more dealing with RGB, PMS, CMYK or OMGWTF codes. Plus it just looks sexy while my current Wacom stylus looks like some sort of kitchen utensile.

CONTEST TIME: Reblog this post for a chance to win Star Wars Kinect!
The rad dudes over at Brisk are hooking us up with a copy of Star Wars Kinect to give to one lucky reader. Not only that, but they’re throwing in a bottle of Brisk that includes a special M-Tag that can be scanned by your Kinect to unlock the game’s Anakin Podracing Mode.
To enter, just make sure you’re following Albotas on Tumblr, reblog this post, and that’s it! Multiple reblogs WILL NOT get you multiple entries, plus it’s just obnoxious, so don’t be that person. Oh, and it also helps if we have a way to contact you in case you win, so be sure to enable your Ask Box.
One lucky winner will be announced this Friday. Good luck, and may The Force be with you.
Also, Brisk is giving away a buttload of radness over on their Facebook page for the next few days, so go peep that business for more chances at getting free things.

Fisher-Price Infant to Toddler Swing with Sunshield (V7597)
Fisher-Price Infant to Toddler Swing with Sunshield (V7597) - What’s even better than enjoying swing-time fun in fresh air and sun? Swing-time fun in the shade! The Fisher-Price Sunshield Swing has all the best baby, toddler, and parent-friendly features of the popular Fisher-Price Infant-to-Toddler Swing, PLUS an overhead sunshield canopy with UPF 35 UV sun protection that helps provide an added “shield” from harmful UV rays of the sun. For children ages 6 – 36 months.
Grows with Your Child!: A two position infant-to-toddler seat with an adjustable sunshield canopy features an adjustable three-point harness makes the seat a great fit for infants and toddlers. Babies enjoy a gentle recline, and when they’re ready to sit upright, it’s quick and easy to adjust the seat to the upright position. Durable plastic, sturdy ropes, drain holes in the seat and metal attachment hooks are designed to weather years of use. Easy in-and-out as the tray is removable.
More than just Fun and Relaxing!: For kids, physical motion (including swinging) is more than just fun and relaxing. This motion is actually very important to their sensory development. Not only does the swinging motion help children develop a sense of movement and balance, but it aids in the development of body awareness. It’s also a great time for you and your child to share time together—singing, swinging, counting, laughing, playing! The added sun protection of the sunshield canopy provides parents with a little more ease during outside play.
Safe, Comfortable & Secure…: The Infant to Toddler Swing with Sunshield is secure, thanks to its dual safety restraint system (adjustable three-point harness and tray), two position infant-to-toddler seat, and adjustable sunshield canopy with UPF 35 UV protection. The tray swings up and out of the way to make it easy to get kids in and out, and it holds snacks and toys, too!
What's In The Box?: UPF 35 UV canopy with brackets, swing seat with ropes, harness and tray, s-hooks for easy assembly, and instructions.

C2E2 2012: CS Moore Studio
At C2E2, the CS Moore Studio had a booth showing off some of their current releases and a few coming in the near future. And yes, there were plenty of gorgeous ladies at their booth in resin and bronze form, featuring Witchblade and The Angelus from Witchblade; Lady Death; X-Men's Emma Frost; and a sexy Snow White, among others. But there were other statues there, too, including a symbiote Spiderman; The Walking Dead bust and statue; Conan the Barbarian; and of course, since we're in Chicago ... the ***-kicking Savage Dragon!
Check out the gallery for all the photos, and let us know if there's anything that catches your eye! I do like that Spiderman piece and the Savage Dragon bust myself ...

Regarding the Backordered Barbie Mermaid
I've never heard of that procedure being implemented. Normally you would have to contact a company if you don't want to accept a delayed item.
The following information is from BC moderators.
Please note since revised backorder date is over 30 days, to insure your doll is kept on order please contact customer service at 1-800-491-7514 or email customerservice@barbiecollector.com. Be sure to include your order number, name, mailing address, and the Mermaid doll item number W3427.
According to Mattel this is a Federal Trade Regulation policy:
It is an FTC regulation that BC is required to have customers confirm they still want the doll. I suggest you check out http://business.ftc.gov/documents/bus02-business-guide-mail-and-telephone-order-merchandise-rule where it states:
