Megahouse takes it over 9000 with Goku
Megahouse and designers Hiroyuki Nakazawa and Acorn have recently launched pre-orders for their new Dimension of DRAGONBALL Son Goku figure.
Goku, the main character of Akira Toriyama's mega series Dragonball Z (along with Dragonball and Dragonball GT), stands at 210 mm (6 1/4 inches) tall and made from PVC. His gi, belt, and pants are made from cloth and he comes with 3 different expressions: Staring you down for a fight, innocent and goofy Goku, and the cocky smile of having Capt. Ginyu taking over his body (with scouter). The standard price is about US$60 and he starts shipping out in late April.

ThunderCats toys to return in 2015
The on again off again license that is ThunderCats seems to be on again as insiders from Mezco have said that the toy company will be showing off new ThunderCats figures at the 2015 Toy Fair on February 14th.
ThunderCats was first put into toy form by LJN in the 1ater half of the '80s to coincide with the original cartoon show. The series was later rebooted for Cartoon Network, bringing with it two different toy lines, one from Bandai that lasted only for one year in 2011, and figures from Mezco that were "show accurate" to the original cartoon. The kitties from Thundera have also had their likenesses used for Minimates and Funko.
There is nothing confirmed yet as to whether this will be a continuation of Mezco's line of 20-inch figures or if they will launch a new line of feline figures.

Landspeeder made of 3000 bricks, sold at nearest cantina
Not every Lego MOC I see is great enough to be almost ready for stores, but Aaron Fiskum's X34 Landspeeder could get there. It's a very impressive build; all the sides and angles look smooth. You even get a blown engine piece, to show off Luke Skywalker's infallible mechanical repair skills. The windshield would probably need a unique piece because it would be so specific in that scale, so it's hard to fault in that respect. And according to the Brothers Brick, this is only his second MOC build, so we will watch his career with great interest.
He even put in some stickers from other Lego sets to represent Star Wars...unique graphical interface for their super high-tech machines. This would be modeled after Lego's Ultimate Collector's Series line, so it would be super big and make all your friends totally "jelly". Force your droids to ride on the back, without safety harnesses, in STYLE. No mirror included to hide the wheels on the bottom (movie magic!). It might be a tad big in proportion to minifig scale, but the other UCS model's aren't exactly in proportion either. Heck, this could even be the luxury model of the X34: the XL34. Probably would be an easier sell to make enough money to pay off the smugglers you meet in a bar!

Killing half the the universe...with cuteness!
Now that all Marvel licensees have answered the internet's very loud calls for Baby Groot toys, they can turn their attention elsewhere! The Funko Pop! Glow in the Dark figure of Thanos arrives as an Entertainment Earth exclusive, decked out in his Guardians of the Galaxy attire (previously: standard, non-shiny Thanos). Not only does he have a very evil smile, he glows in the dark! So bust out the black light, Dark Side of the Moon poster, and Scareglow; time to meet Thanos at the rave. The rave of death and evil.
Thanos is six inches tall, so he will tower over most of your other Pop! Vinyl figures. I don't know if this is in line with his movie appearance. He may be a giant in the Marvel films, I can't tell really given how little he has interacted with characters. But hey, this could be as good an indication as any. Though, it could be fun to have the same size Thanos, Colossal Titan, and Stay Puft all on one shelf. Regardless, he is the same Pop! Vinyl style you've all come to expect. And really, if you aren't a massive fan of his movie look this looks close enough to sate fans of the classic version. Plus he glows in the dark, and that's a plus anyway you look at it.
Entertainment Earth has given a March 2015 release date, and a price of $15.99. So go pre-order soon, and MAYBE he will spare you...maybe...

Not Just For American Girl Dolls Anymore
First up is a shop called Grace's French Bakery which retails for a whopping $500. Prego member, Johanna, posted many pictures or her insanely fantastic collection which includes the La Patisserie and Grace's Pastry Cart ($150) with her dolls. If you look carefully, you will see Gene Marshall chairs and tables in the setting! It's perfect.
Johanna also showed us Samantha's Ice Cream Parlor ($300) being visited by her Tonner Patience dolls.
Mike (laughon45) posted the following three rooms. He, like Johanna, has added other 1/4 scale furniture to enhance these American Girl rooms. All of the dolls he used in these settings are Kingdom Dolls.
Isabelle's Studio ($275) That's quite a transformation. I love it.
Caroline's Parlor ($300.) I want this one!

As if the Egg Chair weren't adorable enough, it is actually equipped with stereo speakers. You plug a cable from the chair into your own music source and your doll can enjoy.
Some retired American Girl pieces can be found on Amazon.com and on eBay. Some sellers will say "fits American doll" when it's not genuine American Doll. It that matters to you, be aware.
