Bandai reveals S.H. Figuarts Cardcaptor Sakura, goes head-to-head with Max Factory
It seems like only yesterday I was complaining about how there were no Cardcaptor Sakura figures, but now we're practically drowning in them, as Bandai have announced they'll be producing an S.H. Figuarts version of Sakura Kinomoto. What's more, we've already got fully coloured, production ready pictures!
Interestingly, this comes only a few days after Max Factory revealed their own poseable Sakura as part of the figma range. The two figures are uncannily similar, even down to the choice of outfit. Speaking of that, I know this is one of the famous ones, but could we please get a little more variety? Just sayin'. Regardless, it's a clear case of throwing down the gauntlet to a rival company, and it'll be interesting to see which way collectors decide to go. It seems like Bandai have the jump here though, as Sakura is already pencilled in for a March 2015 release. More news as we get it.
