Fuller's Warrior King rises
We haven't heard much from Fuller for a while, as he's been buried in a lot of work. But what's he been up to? Apparently part of that time has been working on this impressive custom Paw, the Warrior King.
Made for a client who wanted a warrior leaping over the Great Wall of China, it's a massive sculpture, replete with a suit of armor and leaping over a monstrous wall base. If you know how big a Paw is on its own (in case you don't, they're 12 inches tall), then the scale of this piece is impressive ... not to mention a lot of the detail work Fuller has worked into the piece.
So far, it's my front runner for the best custom of 2014. What say you?

The Reveal of Chris Pratt / Peter Quill AKA Star Lord Headsculpt for "Guardians of the Galaxy" from Hot Toys
If you hadn't noticed by now, when the 1/6 Star-Lord was first revealed by Hot Toys, the headsculpt featuring the likeness of actor "Chris Pratt" was blurred out … although at San Diego Comic Con, the head was "revealed" … now Hot Toys offers up an "official" reveal with studio snaps of Guardians of the Galaxy's "Peter Quill"!

Tomopop Review: Brick Label Masterbrick MB-01 Metalhide
The great thing about LEGO bricks is that they can be used to build as simple or complex as you want. They're a lot like clay in that sense. Sure, anyone can make a simple LEGO box, or clay flower pot, but in the hands of someone with true talent you get something amazing. Metalhide from Brick Label is that something amazing. They've gone and made something that even Hasbro has yet to do: Take a number of bricks and turn them into a very large and impressive robot that can transform into a vehicle mode without any part swapping or shellparts.
