One-upping previous reveals and giveaways, Funko has unveiled three new Hikari figures which includes a new Gillman (The Creature from the Black Lagoon) mold. All three are currently available for pre-order.
"Apocalypse Creature" will be an Entertainment Earth exclusive. While this wouldn't be the first time that a newly revealed mold would appear first as an exclusive, I'm still a little surprised given that it's a completely new mold and is the first Hikari figure not pertaining to either a cartoon or comic. Gillman has long been my favorite movie monster and I've subsequently seen a lot of merchandise over the years, including other Funko items, but the Hikari Apocalypse Creature looks distinct enough to set itself apart from the pack. I'm not sure where the "Apocalypse" moniker fits in, as the coloring just looks like a metallic Gillman, but he looks great. Funko's Hikari Apocalypse Creature is limited to 750 pieces and will run you US$50.
Optimus Prime and Bumblebee have each received a second deco, in the form of "Battle Ready" versions (the "Clear Glitter" versions were unveiled in June). The Battle Ready versions have a really neat slightly rusted, old toy look to them. Each one is limited to 1,000 pieces.
You can win one of the three by entering Funko's Facebook contest. Even though three people will win something this time around, it's not like the odds are great and, since the figures sell out fast, I'd suggest putting in a pre-order if you're interested.

On their Facebook page, Kotobukiya has revealed the full sculpt of their new Bishoujo Jubilee statue. The Bishoujo Jubilee statue is a work in progress. It is being sculpted by Atelier Bamboo and there are a few more tweaks to go before it is ready for production. However, it looks pretty awesome already.
