Argonaut Resins comes out with Sparkly Pharaoh Hound minis
Last night, Argonaut Resins released the first wave of Sparkly Pharaoh Hounds. This series continues their sparkly line that started with the Sparkly Tuttz figures. Those glittery feline figures were released in four waves, each one just as beautiful as the last.
These Hounds have been released in an edition of 10 in 10 different colors. I love how deep and vibrant the red and purple figures are. Each figure will be five inches tall, and a few of these will even be glow in the dark.
This first wave is available now in Argonaut Resis’ online store for US$50 each.

Let it go! Funko POP! Frozen figure images appear
The snow glows white on the mountain tonight; there are figures to be seen! The princess, snowman and reindeer - oh it looks like there's the queen!
Alright, I'm sorry for the song, but you couldn't have thought you'd get away without one could you? It looks like POP! figures 79-83 will all be of the cast from Frozen! Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven and Olaf are all getting adorable POP! renditions, and I can't wait to get my hands on them. Elsa has to be my favorite of course, but Sven is pretty adorable as well.
POPvinyl.net is showing that these should be available in July, so give yourself a Christmas in July present when these show up in stores. I'm sure Olaf will enjoy his adventures with you in Summer.

DST webslings out a new Marvel Select Amazing Spidey 2 photo gallery
Diamond Select Toys has released an image gallery for its upcoming Marvel Select Amazing Spider-Man 2 unmasked Spider-Man. This exclusive version is available from Marvelshop starting today.
The gallery shows off the MS Spidey, both masked and unmasked, as he swings along the (presumably) actual streets of New York City (since DST Zach or a photographer could just walk outside DST's NYC offices to take the photos).
The Marvel Select unmasked Spider-Man features two heads (masked and unmasked), four interchangeable sets of hands, and multiple webbing accessories. The version seems widely superior to the "fireman" version slated to hit comic shops and other specialty retailers. He's available for order through the Marvelshop right now for US$25.

Nintendo announces that their toy NFP project is called Amiibo

Last month, we heard that Nintendo was going to be making figures that can be integrated into their video games. At the time, these toys were called Nintendo Figurine Platform, or NFP for short. Still, I knew that this couldn’t be the project’s final name, because it didn’t have that Nintendo charm.
Now, after their presentation at E3, the company has announced that these figures will be called Amiibo. There we go, now that’s a Nintendo name! We also got a look at the first figure, Mario, live.
The first game that will support these figures will be Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U. As mentioned before, each figure will be able to be customized, and they’ll each have their own personal information. Nintendo promises that their Amiibos will be supported in many of their games.
You’ll even be able to use these soon for the newly released Mario Kart 8. No exact release date or price information has been announced yet.
Seen at Nintendo's E3 booth was more of these Amiibo figures. All of these figures come from the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U. So there are figures of Kirby, Pikachu, Yoshi, Villager, Link, Pit, Samus, Princess Peach, Fox, Donkey Kong, Wii Fit Trainer, Ike, and Zelda.
