[NSFW] Super Soniko can serve me beer anytime
I'm not a big fan of Sonico. Yeah, she's definitely cute and she certainly has the kind of curves that I like, but I've just seen her too many times. She's close to reaching Tamaki levels of market saturation. That said, I'm not completely against A+'s latest Beer Girl version. Designed to look like a vaguely German waitress, this version of Sonico is at least trying something different. Then again, it has the usual A+ ridiculous proportions and soulless eyes, so that doesn't do Sonico any favors.
Coming in at 1/6 scale, it should be a fairly large figure, which is also pretty nice. No mention of a release date, so we'll keep you up to date. Anybody looking forward to this particular version of NitroPlus's number one gal?
[EDIT: Thanks to readers Elite7x and s1ic3, this is actually Super Pochaco, another character created by NitroPlus. Now the ridiculous proportions make sense as she's a completely different character. I thought Sonico's curves were rather bombastic, but Pochaco certainly takes the cake here!]

All hail new photos of Bahamut, King of Variant Play Arts Kai Dragons
Some new official photos for Square-Enix's upcoming Variant Play Arts Kai Bahamut have turned up and... he still looks great.
While there had been some fears in regards to the color scheme, the tones work well enough even if at a glance it looks more like a suit of armor than an actual dragon. I imagine the colors may still polarize fans unlike other entries in the Variant Play Arts Kai line.
Expect Square-Enix's VPAK Bahamut to go up for pre-order soon and to cost a bundle when it does.

Nendoroid Aoba bares it all in time for pre-orders
Boy Nendoroids are perhaps even rarer than boy figmas, so it's always a big deal whenever one shows up. Particularly when they look as good as Aoba, protagonist of the PC game DRAMAtical Muder and now ultra-adorable deformed bishounen.
First revealed at Wonder Festival earlier this year, Kahotan's now got the scoop on the final production version, finished off in Aoba's trademark blue palette. The wizards at GSC have done their usual terrific job recreating the fine details, be it his puffy bomber jacket or extravagant boots, and that shock of cyan hair is very eye-catching. His adorable dog Ren is present and correct too and wonderfully modelled for the scale. Aside from the standard expressions, Aoba's also got a truly unique accessory - the option to drive fans wild by going shirtless, with matching alternate hair to recreate a soundtrack album cover.
It all adds up to a package that's both unique and easy on the eye, and I'm sure legions of fanboys and fangirls are racing to get their pre-orders in. You can actually do that right now, as Aoba's on sale at 3,889, with orders due to land in September. Any of you have room for a big-headed pretty boy in your life readers?

Dough Tools - 5 Piece Assortment
Dough Tools - 5 Piece Assortment
Dough Tools - 5 Piece Assortment - If you choose to buy these dough tools, don't buy them from Factory Depot. I ordered them on the 22nd of November and they didn't ship until MORE THAN A WEEK later on the 30th. Even Amazon sent me an email saying this shipping time was not acceptable and gave me a link to contact the seller. I did contact them a day or two ago and told them to cancel the order, that this was an unacceptable amount of time to wait for the item to ship. They never replied to me -- just shipped the item -- charging me the full shipping price and everything. Terrible customer service, terrible company. As for the product itself, we purchased these because our daughter takes a class at a local nature center where they have homemade play dough and lay out these sorts of plastic tools for the little ones to use. We also ordered the Melissa and Doug ones for Christmas. These plastic tools are different from the wooden ones. Our daughter very much enjoyed these tools at the nature center so we're confident she'll also enjoy them at home. -- By IrishlawlassDough Tools - 5 Piece Assortment - Set consists of a Flower Roller, Round Cutting Roller, Zig Zag Cutting Roller, Double-sided Large Hobby Craft Tool and Plastic Blade for creative dough cutting.

Blogging Break
So after 3 continuous days of visiting the hospital A&E, my fever has finally been diagnosed to be due to Chicken Pox! Reliving my childhood (Mum said I already had it when I was 3 years old), I've since decided to take a slight break from blogging and instead direct you folks to my Facebook at www.facebook.com/toysreviler for updates or to post updates about your work.
And frankly my focus is out of whack, I could not even type THIS post out without a multitude of typos! Ironically, the past 3 days all I had dreamt about, was updating the blog, I kid you not!
Sorry if this is not a post about "toys", but just want to give you folks a headsup, is all :)
Time for a break, see you folks soon!
Cheers
Andy

Spike A Peek! - The Egg Muff Series - NEW Handmade Dolls and E-Pattern
"Nancy Dew Drop"and "Spike A Peek" are members of the "Egg Muff Series" of cloth dolls.
They are a fun loving group of dolls that love to sneak around and maybe, every once in awhile, drop in unexpectedly.
You might find then peaking around a corner, peaking over the windowsill, peaking through a keyhole in a door, or sneaking into your room. You just never know.
Sometimes you might just catch a glimpse of their eyes and hair as they try to sneak a peak. If you listen carefully, you might even hear them laughing, even chuckling away.
Sometimes you might even catch them doing a little jig. You just never know what they may do.
They love to laugh. They love to have fun. But, most of all they love to play hide and peak! No, not hide and seek! Hide and peak!
"Spike A Peek" is a 10" squared bottomed self-standing country and cottage cloth doll. He has a 1/2 muslin body and 1/2 corduroy body. His face is embroidered with black and white satin stitched eyes, pink cheeks, and a raised nose. His eyebrows are embroidered as are his eyelashes.
Spike has a mass of thick dark gray yarn hair on the very top of his head with the back and sides of his head left bald.
He is wearing his favorite blue shirt with collar, his favorite fringed scarf, and his favorite knit vest with hand embroidered pockets.
Spike A Peek is actually the most rambunctious of the Egg Muffs and, generally, the least level headed. He always lets the fun get the better of him and finds that, more often then not, he's in the "Muff House" (the Egg Muff Series version of a doghouse) being "muffed!" This is also known as a "time-out!"
Spike A Peek doesn't use his "time-out" and being "muffed" wisely. He uses it as an opportunity to think up his next prank. The one he's going to play on Tom A. Hawk.
