Sunday night was The Walking Dead’s fourth season finale. It pulled in a tremendous 15.7 million viewers, and left fans on one hell of a cliffhanger. So now fans like me have to wait until October to see what’s going to happen next.

Though, if you asked me, they could have eliminated about five episodes this season and got us more into the finale’s storyline. Well, they can’t change it now! Conveniently, the day after the finale, McFarlane’s figure line up for The Walking Dead TV series 6 was revealed.

Thanks to BigBadToyStore it looks like we’ll be getting figures of Abraham Ford, Bungee Guts Zombie, Carol Peletier, Hershel Greene, and Rick Grimes. This is a nice selection of characters who really stood out in season four. There hasn’t been a figure of Rick since series 2 so I’m ready to see a figure of dirty, crazy Rick.

Still, I’m more excited they’re making a figure of Carol! I love how much her character has developed, and she's definitely worthy of having her own figure. There are no images yet of any of these figures, but I’m sure they’ll be as realistic as all of McFarlane’s others. Pre-orders are also opened now on BBTS for US$14.99 each.

"Janice Nightingale - She's Always There For You!" is one of the members of the "Nurse Series" of cloth dolls and they are all getting ready for the "Emergency Worldwide Disaster Drill."

You see, you can never be prepared enough for a natural disaster or disaster of any nature - even a global one. So, they like nurses all over the world are all getting ready to do whatever is required of their nursing position during the drill.

They all took an oath to save lives and that is what they all intend to do. But, they and we all know that their jobs aren't just about saving lives - their jobs also entail caring for the patients, encouraging the patients, and teaching the patients how to care for themselves.

Nurses are vital to the health care profession and anyone who has even been in a hospital anywhere in the world knows that hospitals cannot function with nurses. They are the heart and soul of any hospital and heart and soul of the health care profession.

So, the nurses are getting ready. I have no doubt they will be. No matter where in the world they are.


"Janice Nightingale - She's Always There For You!" is a 14" primitive squared bottomed self-standing cloth nurse doll. She has a muslin body and embroidered face with black sunken and satin stitched eyes, brown water colored eyelids, embroidered nose, and an embroidered mouth. Her eyebrows are embroidered as are her eyelashes and she has bright rust blushed cheeks. Her wired reading glasses sit on the lower part of her nose.

Janice has a mass of auburn roving wool hair glued all over her head and fastened in a bun in the back. Her nurse's cap is and old-fashioned cap with a red cross on the front and is attached to the top and back of her head.

Her slip is lace trimmed and gathered at the waist. Her blue striped nurse's uniform has a long, lace trimmed bodice and is gathered at the lower body. The puffy and full sleeves are gathered at the lined cuffs and shoulders. Her dress bodice is gathered at the neck and a white lined collar surrounds her neck.

Her white nurse's apron has a long front bib with lower pockets, gathered neck edge, and snug to her body fit. Her blue wool cape is lined, top stitched along the edges, wrapped around her neck and tied in a knot in the front. Janice is carrying her handy medical bag with a gold strap and red cross.


"Janice Nightingale - She's Always There For You!" is in charge of all the nurses for the worldwide emergency drill.

It is a HUGE job - but, Janice is very capable of doing this.

You see, she's a seasoned and profession nurse and has, basically, seen it all. Nothing rattles her. She is as calm and cool as a cucumber in the middle of a hurricane as she is standing at the blackboard and teaching. From her years in the field and in the military to her current position at the Red Cross Teaching Hospital there isn't any medical emergency Janice can't handle.

Been there - yup!

Done that - yup!

She's always there and ALWAYS ready to help.

Today is a very special day. No, not April Fool's Day (well, that too, actually). I mean, that today marks the date that, after much teasing, Tentacle Kitty has put new plushes up for pre-order. And it's a double-feature! Fans not only get to purchase Pirate Kitty but also the big-eyed Little Ones, who recently made their debut in the Tentacle Kitty webcomic.

The Pirate Kitty is eight-inches tall with a pirate panty hat (yes, you read that correctly) and a toilet paper roll on his leg. He's quite the little cosplayer. Like all of the first run Tentacle Kitty plushes, this Pirate Kitty will have a special "First Edition" tush tag. You can pre-order him for US$30. The Little Ones are, as one would expect, are smaller in size. They are half the height of the other plushes, standing only four-inches tall. But what they lack in size, they make up for in variety. The Little Ones come in eight different colors: red, blue, green, pink, orange, purple, black, and white. They are also much cheaper than the other toys, costing a mere US$10 each.

Both the Pirate Kitty and The Little Ones need at least 250 orders per character to make it into production. As these plushes are relying on fan support, there is no set release date. Been an age since we saw any works from Manuel Heischel, and he pops this image of his upcoming new "print" sized 11.5cm x 8cm. and titled "fehu" (FYI: it's ancient german meaning for bringing luck, richness and plethora) - shown here framed.

The Cavey family is heading to a galaxy far, far away with its next release, the C-Wok Cavey. Based on the Ewoks from Return of the Jedi, the little fellows will be available in both plush and vinyl versions, as seems to be the norm for Caveys now a days.

So here's the rundown:

• Green C-Wok Caveys will go on sale in the Cavey shop on Thursday, April 3, at 8 p.m. GMT (3 p.m. Eastern, noon Pacific) for £25 each, limited to 25 pieces.

So, what did Matty Collector do for April Fools' Day? Did the company announce it would be making a Snake Mountain and shipping it exclusively to Big Lots? That the new Masters of the Universe film would cast Kanye West as He-Man*? Nope! Instead the company announced it would be selling clamshell packaging to store your Masters figures. I mean, of all the lame gags...

Oh, it's not a prank? But Matty will be charging US$15 (or, if the press release is correct, US$30) for a pack of two! How can that be serious?! While Matty's new clamshells are a product that I definitely won't be buying (partly because I'm not a MOC kind of guy), I imagine that fans who like ot display the figures MOC on a wall will probably enjoy the added security.
