Evilos' The Rainy Day Antagonist hits Kickstarter
Evilos is a rather well-known customizer of designer toys, especially Vinylmations and Munnys, but he's hopping into the resin figure world with an original character, The Rainy Day Antagonist. Inspired by rain clouds that keep Evilos from painting outdoors sometimes, the 4-inch-tall resin figure features a disgruntled cloud flipping everyone the bird (as seen in the concept art by Qunicy Sutton in the header). Personally, I like the design, as it has a good urban-style look while also not being too complex.
It's able to be separated into five parts for painting/customizing purposes, and the Kickstarter has him available at the US$30 pledge tier. A painted version that will look like the concept art is at the US$150 tier, and Evilos has 16 E-Veloper Androids that he's handpainted available at the US$50 tier.
Evilos is looking for US$3,500 in total to produce and mold the first run of figures, with glow-in-the-dark and clear versions of The Rainy Day Antagonist as stretch goals, and just three days in, he's already at over US$2,800.
