Don't you just love it when the doorbell rings and the florist is standing there with a fresh floral arrangement? I certainly do. Look what baby sister sent on Tuesday. I was in flower heaven.
Fans of Date A Live, listen up: the little Nendoroid Yoshino you might have had your eye on is open for pre-orders! Not only is she coming with her floppy-eared hood, you're getting her puppet Yoshinon as well and some pretty funny faces. I imagine they'll have some use with other Nendoroids if you're a collector or into photography!
Nendoroid Yoshino is retailing for ¥3,889 and arrives with her puppet in May. Anyone going to be adding her to their collection out there?

Ayleen and George over at Toy Break are about to embark on their annual 24-hour broadcast, which starts at 5 p.m. Pacific (8 p.m. Eastern) tonight to help raise money to continue the production of Toy Break. They're planning of guests, auctions, and more as part of the stream, but there will also be some new releases to coincide with the event.
From October Toys, the Toy Break mini-figure — available in glow-in-the-dark, grey, and purple — will be available for US$1. These are usually only available at conventions like San Diego Comic Con and DesignerCon. Also available will be OMFG! Series 3 in a purple colorway for US$10.
There's also going to be a flesh-tone vinyl Cavey as part of the releases, priced at US$25. It's an exclusive colorway for October Toys but otherwise similar to the past vinyl Caveys that have been released.
Be sure to stop by and check out the 24-hour broadcast for a bit if you're a fan of designer collectibles, and let us know if you plan on picking any of these collectibles up!

Diamond Select Toys has summarized many of its most recent reveals into the latest "New in Previews" feature. The feature includes heavy-hitters previously seen here (such as the Marvel Select Amazing Spider-Man 2 Spidey, Kill Bill Minimates, and Sin City figures) as well as a handful of items we haven't covered.
The most interesting of the more recent announcements is a vinyl bank based on Kevin Smith's fictional mascot Mooby the Golden Calf. Mooby was most infamously featured in Dogma, where a renegade angel played by Matt Damon takes offense at the mascot based a golden calf (viewing it as idolatry because it's literally a golden calf...) and decides to go Old Testament on that company's board of directors. The 10-inch Mooby vinyl bank will be available for US$23.
The iconic idol will also be featured in Minimates form in a 2-pack alongside the "Buddy" Christ, a mascot introduced by Cardinal Glick (Dogma) to help make Catholicism more fun. Both Minimates are apparently based on their appearances in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, where the Buddy Christ was a dashboard ornament. The Mooby and Buddy Christ Minimates 2-pack is listed at US$10.
The final items not previously mentioned are a classic Batman tv series logo (ie, Adam West) bottle-opener (US$18) and re-issues for the Marvel Select "What if?" Captain America (where the character sports a suit of armor designed by Tony Stark), and an early Elektra.
If you are a Lord of the Rings fan and collect 12 inch action figures, chances are that you have probably herd of Asmus Toys by now. Last year they revealed that they have the 1/6 scale license for Lord of the Rings figures, and this year they announced that 2014 is going to be […]

For a movie that wasn’t that successful at the box office, Pacific Rim sure does have a big following for the toys based on the movie. Late last year NECA announced that Pacific Rim Series 3 would be so large that there is going to have to be 2 assortments of figures. There is going […]

Paul Shih has rolled out another version of his Mister Bing figure, this one a more love-struck version of the carb-filled fortune teller. The Valentine's edition of Mr. Bing has him with a little more rosy-colored cheeks, plus the fortunes are all Valentine's themed (and if you buy one and want a custom message for a loved one, Paul will do that for your purchase).
Of course, these aren't going to be an open run: only 10 have been made, priced at US$45 plus shipping, and available from Paul's shop at noon Pacific (3 p.m. Eastern, 8 p.m. GMT) on Saturday.
