It's a pre-order festival for FREEing's yukata Inori
Although Guilty Crown is a couple of years old now, its leading lady Inori Yuzuriha continues to be popular enough to inspire some big companies to turn out figures of her. This time roun it's FREEing's turn, and they've gone, as the trend seems to be these days, for a lovely yukata clad look.
If there's one thing I really like about this figure it's that titular yukata and the lovely shade of burning orange they've gone for. It's a nice nod to her 'regular' outfit and the way it fades into white at the bottom is exquisite. Alas, I'm not such a fan of some of the other stuff we see here. That pose just looks awkward and there's definitely somethin off about the face. I suspect they were going for 'pouty' but missed the mark by quite a bit. The Egoist fan is a nice touch though.
In any case, if you'd like to add Inori to your collection, she'll be coming out in May for ¥8,148. That seems a little much no? If you don't agree, then hit the links below to pre-order.

Super7 chills out with a new Foster, Crystal Mecha
Super7 won't let the cold weather of winter slow down their release train. Partially because there aren't blizzards in San Francisco, but also because they have some new colorways to share, including an appropriate one for the season:
- That colorway is the new Frozen Foster, the same lovable little cookie but in a baby blue and frost white pattern. I love the color, and I happen to be a Foster collector, so I'll probably be spending US$25 on him.
- Also coming out is a new red colorway of the Crystal Mecha figure for US$95. It's pretty much the same as the previous colorways, except with a white-colored crystal head and a red body.
Both figures are releasing noon Pacific (3 p.m. Eastern, 8 p.m. GMT) on Thursday, Jan. 16, in Super7's shop. Also up in the Super7 shop today is a new batch of Mazinger-Z figures from Secret Base, in four clear colorways for US$65.
