Rich Page, better known as the guy behind Ume Toys, has a new release in time for the holiday season. He's bringing us a little sweetie called Plum, derived from the fact that she's actually plum pudding. There's a little holly berry/leaf topping on top of the gooey pudding insides, but the whole thing isn't edible. It is just a 3-inch-tall resin figure, after all.

Ten Plums will be up in the Ume Toys shop for 28 plus shipping, starting at 9 a.m. GMT (4 a.m. Eastern, 1 a.m. Pacific) on Thursday.

Sergey Safonov will have his first solo show "After Dark" launching this Thursday November 21st in Moscow.

"I had no chance to exhibit my works before in my hometown, so I will show everything I made so far, announce a couple of new releases and will make a long due presentation of the Moon Fox model kit (Skill level 1)." ~added Sergey.

From resin creations to 2D-artwork, it would be interesting to see a retrospective of his work thus far, methinks.

Opening Friday November 29th @ the Concrete Gallery in Amsterdam, is a Custom Art Toy Exhibition dubbed "ToyHeist". Utilizing new art toy platforms: Stranger and Goon made by Flawtoys and DT Custom, 22 x artists / customizers have been invited to work on them, with the result being made available to see and purchase during the show, with as well the remaining pieces to be sold online afters.

Releasing Monday, November 18th at 6pm PT (9pm ET) on gorgoloid.com are MUSHROOM PEOPLE from Gorgoloid. Priced at US430 each, each figurine stands 2.75" tall, and is hand cast, dyed with Monsterkolor and hand painted (with the exception of one clear). Each one will come signed and bagged with header card - featuring a painting by Marcus Gannuscio (featured here). "This will be a blind bag release of the run of 12 figures. Each one will be randomly selected and mailed out."

"As an homage to one of my all time favorite movies and sources of inspiration, Matango, and a general interest in mycology mythology and stories, I decided to make a mini sculpt of a Mushroom kaiju. Square Enix's shot at making the original (and best) RoboCop for their Play Arts Kai line has entered pre-order stage! Yep, we're moving closer to the legendary cyborg cop's release, and it appears his paint job will feature the same airbrushed metallic shading that we've seen on other smaller-scale figures. The accessories seem to include everything that the figma version had, minus the battle-damaged helmet. Guess it depends if you want to trade that off for a more realistically-sculpted face.

O.G. RoboCop is going to drop in late February 2014 at a Japanese retail price of ¥9,880 (just shy of US$100). As a heads up, the U.S. retail price is US$89.99, almost a full US$10 cheaper than what you'd expect to pay on the Japanese sites; the only trade-off is it's listed on the U.S. retailers' sites as a March release.
