In 2012 when Hasbro wanted to do some exclusive Transformers for the Asian market they decided on a Chinese Zodiac theme and released Dark of the Moon's Ultimate Optimus Prime in new colors and with a gold dragon design on the side of the trailer. This year they repainted Energon Optimus Prime and Omega Supreme for the Year of the Snake. Next year in 2014 Hasbro is raising the ante with at least one Masterpiece repaints for the Year of the Horse. While there are no pictures, thanks to a since removed listing on ToysRUs.ca we have some clues as to what to expect.

First figure based on the description is a repaint of Masterpiece Optimus Prime himself. The listing mentioned his trailer, gun, axe, and the Matrix would be included. Price was listed at CA$139.99. The second figure was listed as "TRA SUPREME STARSCREAM CNY PLATINUM" with CNY being Chinese New Year. No description was given for clues and there are some mixed theories on just what this figure will be using for a mold. Some think it'll be a repaint of Masterpiece Starscream, but the price seems much too high for that at CA$119.99. No, more likely it'll be the only other Starscream figure dubbed "Supreme", the giant Starscream featured in Cybertron. That's a figure that would at least warrant the higher price. 

A third exclusive listed that doesn't appear to be part of the Zodiac campaign is yet another release of the Platinum Edition Grimlock vs. Bruticus set for CA$149.99 that is currently available at BigBadToyStore.com and Amazon.com  for US$99.99. No other real info is known about these, be we can be certain Hasbro will be using them to fill in the numbers for their Thrilling Thirty.
