Resin BJD Nudes in Comparison by Liane Laughlin
Since so many have had questions about the differences between all the various resin fashion dolls, I decided to get my dolls naked for an in-depth comparison. I love each and every one of these brands for different reasons, so I have no hidden agenda. Below is a link to my FBJD Comparison Set on Flickr. I compared Ficon Denimish, JamieShow Angelina, DeMuse Doll Papillon, Deva Doll Nantha, Inamorata Inro, Numina Devon and Sybarite Dionysis. I have a Tonner resin doll around here somewhere too, but did not include her. Seems like there has been plenty of pictures of the Tonner anyways. I don't own a ModsDoll (yet). For holding a pose, the Sybarite won hands down. Others can get into the same positions as the Sybarite, but can't hold the exact same pose without support like the Syb can.

VISEone reveals his next collectible, Zombie Goo
VISEone's latest little project has just been revealed, and it's Zombie Goo, a new addition to his paint tube-inspired line of work. For this 8-inch figure, the paint tube is squeezing out a pretty nicely detailed zombie hand, with Flying LuLu helping VISEone produce the figure like they did with Tube Monster.
Several colorways are planned and will be revealed this summer before the release at NYCC this fall, at the Tenacious Toys/Collective Booth (#208). VISE warns us that our own little zombie in a tube should be squeezed carefully, as "the zombie could grab your head and rip out your brain," which doesn't sound like a good thing if you're a collector. In any case, expect more on Zombie Goo soon!

Tsume-Art hints at an upcoming Erza Scarlet
It's been a little while since Tsume released their excellent figures of Natsu and Gajeel from Fairy Tail, but we're finally getting signs that they'll be picking up the series again. A few days ago Fairy Tail author Hiro Mashima gleefully tweeted a picture of Tsume's Gajeel and today the official Tsume account replied, thanking him and stating "Erza Scarlet next!"
That's...pretty unambiguous to be honest, and I have to wonder if Tsume's social media guy might get into a little trouble. Regardless, it's an exciting piece of news that's also an entirely logical step to take. Erza's a sharp looking character, with about a million different looks if Tsume want to do something other than her regular armour. It also means they can do a lead character without having to go head-to-head with GSC on Lucy Heartfilia.
This remains of course very stictly in 'rumour' territory at the moment, but it makes so much sense I'm pretty sure we'll see some sort of official confirmation soon. We'll update when and if that's the case. In the meantime readers, what would you like to see from an Erza figure?

These new RAH Evangelion figures make an impact
Evangelion 3.33 is out but I haven't really seen the wave of merchandise that I was expecting (hoping for, actually). This preview on the Amiami blog did catch my eye, though. It features two new Real Action Heroes figures by Medicom Toy: EVA-02' and Mari Makinami.
The blog preview and this post may contain minor spoilers, so if you don't want anything spoiled, stop reading now.
Basically what you're seeing are the new designs from Evangelion 3.33. EVA-02 received some upgrades, hence the name change to EVA-02'. You can see the new robotic arm and head design right off the bat. The figure comes with the twin sword weapon and the Gatling gun arm as well.
Mari's new RAH treatment is looking good too. The figure features her new plug suit and glasses design, and her face looks spot-on. I wish they'd include some alternate expressions or something; the only accessory shown so far is a water bottle. Lame!
Both of these will go up for pre-order next week.
