When I first saw this figure, it looked really familiar. I knew I had to have seen it somewhere, but I couldn't find any coverage of it. Yet, such a ridiculous looking character is pretty hard to forget, don't you think? After some poking around, I found out that indeed, Plus X did release an earlier version of this figure, but without the logo on her apron.
Somehow, this apparently sold well enough to warrant a second release with minor changes, making her "Super" Lily Kamen instead of just... Lily Kamen. I will admit that as ridiculous as it is, I am somewhat of a fan of Seikon no Qwaser, as the fights are usually actually fairly interesting, even if the premise and art design is more than a little over the top.
However, even I find it hard to find anything appealing about this. Even though she's castoffable for those of you even pervier than I am, with the outfit on she just looks so frumpy it's downright unattractive. Nevertheless, pre-orders are open now, and with such minuscule changes from the original she'll be available in January.
