Alison Perez's adorable Zukies are going places, like into bottles and bakeries (where else would they get such adorable little cupcakes?). The "Zukie World in a Bottle" figures place a lilliputian Zukie in a bottle with a chain, allowing the owner to carry the Zukie around with them for good luck. Each bottle comes with a scroll that contains a drawing depicting what the contained Zukie is thinking (the creatures express feeling by their skin color, facial features, and thought bubbles). The edition size for Zukie World in a Bottle series is 15 pieces and one lucky owner's bottle will also have gold confetti in it, declaring that they are entitled to a painting by Alison. They are on sale now from Alison's online shop for the price of US$20 a piece.
The "Zukies, Cup Cakes, 'n Ice Cream" series, similar to "Zukie Valentine" series, has Zukies set up in plexiglass terrarium-like cases filled with hobby grass. This time, the creatures are carrying sweets with them and it looks like they are willing to share! Each piece is signed by Alison. They are available now for US$60 each in her online shop.
Another recent project that Alison completed were the "Tiny Zukies." They are, sadly, all sold out. For US$8, you could purchase a box of 4 tiny Zukies. It was a really good deal, considering they were one of a kind. No wonder they sold out so fast!
